Kiku Kamiya

Cats; she has a soft spot for the furry creatures, finding cats to be adorable. She’s unable to properly put into words just why she loves cats so much, and yet, when she stares into the eyes of one, she can’t help but fall in love instantly. In the past, she has participated in the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program in order to help stray cats in her neighborhood.

Classical music; in fact, classical music is her favorite genre. She loves the depth it has, and how it can portray many different emotions -- and even a story -- in just one musical piece. She finds it both aesthetically pleasing and mentally stimulating. She often plays classical music in the background while studying or practicing, as it helps her focus.

Tidiness; she loves when everything is in order and perfectly arranged.

Sunflowers; they remind her of Yui, her very first friend. She was wearing a sunflower hair-clip in her hair the day they met, and Kiku never found a more accurate flower to represent Yui: a sunflower, filled with both positivity and strength.

Violin; Kiku struggles heavily with expressing and understanding people’s emotions, including her own. But when it comes to music, she doesn't have to use any words. Just by playing the violin, she can make everything she's feeling come across - the feelings she can't put into words - and express it perfectly into music.

Untidiness; she absolutely despises messy, unclean rooms.

Tardiness; she hates it when people waste her time. She always wants to make the most of her time, so she thinks that being late is unacceptable. In this same vein, she is always extremely punctual in her life, never once being late for an event.

Acrylic nails; as a violinist, it is impossible for her to play with a full set of acrylic nails. She also thinks that it’s ridiculous to spend money on something as pointless as nails.

Kiku Kamiya is known throughout Japan for her awe-inspiring violin performances. After having won twenty-four medals, and thirty-three trophies from her competitions, it was only natural that others would begin to give her a nickname. “The Blue Lady,” is what was chosen, due to the way her hair would move with the music, almost as if it were dancing along to the performance, the current of her hair strikingly similar the ocean’s waves.

Not much else is known about the famous prodigy. She has never once attended any interview or given any comment to the media. Some say it was almost as though she was a ghost, appearing only for her competitions and concerts, only to disappear into the void once again.
