  • The Warrior-Vagrant

    Venaius says he's searching for something. The drow certainly knows how to find trouble, as one does who lives life stealing everything they need and fighting everyone they want; sometimes this chaos can be directed toward good, not that he cares for such a moral label, or any other. Conflict is his nature; trees grow, birds fly, and Venaius is.

    Battle-scarred and densely-muscled in contempt of his elven frame, his harshest punishment is to himself. Enemies are a close second. Those caught in his grip feel his full weight behind throws, blows, holds, and much more from a grappling style once thought lost; for the rest there's his whip, wielded with patient flair, to disarm them and trip them and wear them down before doing what he does best. If foes won't accept defeat as their consciousness slips away, they'll have plenty of time when they awake later with a sore neck and empty pockets, but alive. Greed and cruelty are his principles, yet so is mercy: can't live rent-free in the head of a corpse, and if they're angry enough for revenge, well, all the better.

    What is he searching for? Where'd he learn to fight? What whispered into his very soul to forsake a comfortable life and become this? Such questions are reasonable, and best asked when the warrior-vagrant is long gone. In his presence, the only reasonable question is how to stop him.
