      Tomorrow marks the day that I'll be leaving, just me, my animals, and the packs on my back! Also the bags on the rest of my body. And my boat. And the things in my boat? Like oilcloths and whatnot. You really do need such a thing occasionally, I think, in case there's rain or an extra enthusiastic spray of water, or whatever else you.may encounter on the way. There are all sorts of things. Now, though, herbal tea drunk, bed clean, room clean, house clean; everything safely locked away, I'll be getting ready to sleep with my cool pillowcase and soft warm blankets. The bed is comfortable. So is Tenny's bed, I suppose, for him. I won't be able to take mine with me like he will his, though. Really, it's fine. I can hardly wait untilI get out into the water tomorrow. I'll be glad to see it. My little red boat is a thing of wonderful magic and mystery! I have good days ahead, I believe. Time to sleep, almost. I can see the stars in the sky, out my window. I wonder how much they will change, how they will change, if I will notice and be surprised by the change? Whatever, however, whenever it happens, I will try to put a smile ony face when it does. I can't help but miss my home, I think, after all. But. I do live the prospect of a nice, good, delightful bit of adventure! The stories I'll be able to tell.
      Now, I'll save the rest of my excitement for tomorrow. Right now, at this moment, it's time to sleep, and then maybe dream? before I wake up. After that, it's going to be me and the little 'uns, on the open waves! Huzzah! And the boat, of course. Good night! ~Haiyzel Kana
