    Born as the illegitimate child of a baron, Meichin's status in life is low, despite her beauty. As a child, she was heavily trained in the entertainment arts and is highly skilled in music and dance. Her father, hoping to use her as a pawn to further his economic and social gains, has decided to marry her off to the highest bidder.

    Meichin is short, fair-skinned, and slim with long black hair. She was born with the genetic defect known as heterochromia; her right eye is a striking brown, nearly gold in color, and her left eye is blue. Meichin is often dressed in elaborate but flattering costumes and jewelry, an attempt by her father to catch the eye of a rich family for her to be married into.

    Meichin is quiet and polite to those she does not know well. However, once the defensive shell of her reserved upbringing is cracked, she is quite playful and outgoing, often caught playing and interacting with local children. Her father's strict upbringing often causes Meichin to become flustered when approached with conflict and she is described as "demure and agreeable to a fault" by her peers. Meichin is eager to prove herself worthy of her father's love by doing whatever it takes to gain his favor, even if it is at her own expense.
