Lords Thomas and Will Atherton

The Atherton Twins take almost equally after their parents. Whispers at court have been silenced due to their strong resemblance to their father, since their mother, the former Duchess of Atherton, Madam Katherine Fitzroy-Merill, was rumoured to have begun her affair with her current husband before the birth of the twins.

Thomas has inherited his father’s golden curls, as well as the shape of his jaw and cheekbones. Upon first impression he is the twin who resembles the Duke of Atherton the most, despite him and his younger brother being identical twins. He stands slightly taller than average and has a healthy physique shaped by his interest in horseback riding and numerous athletic disciplines - encouraged by both his father and step-father.
Thomas has inherited his brown eyes from his mother, Katherine, as well as the shape of the bridge of his nose, and the shape of the Cupid’s bow of his lips.

William has, like his brother, inherited his father’s curls. His hair is slightly darker than Thomas’ though, which helps people tell them apart better. His facial features look almost identical to Thomas’, aside from a beauty mark on his left cheekbone, slightly fuller lips, and more smiling eyes - the latter two being inherited from his mother. He stands at the same height as his brother, though he insists that he is a-centimetre-and-a-half taller than Thomas.
