    Basil grew up in the Labyrinth Forest, a sacred place scattered with overgrown ruins, that seems to shift and change endlessly. Only the elven tribes that live there can traverse the forest safely, so many find work as guides for historians wanting to study the ruins. Basil took on such a job and landed themself at a job as a museum hound, hunting down ruins and lost artifacts and returning them to the Citadel Museum. They are very fond of their job, as it enables them to travel the world freely.
