The Oracle

    Nisha the Oracle is an unfortunate soul. She was born a semi-normal human with a talent in the magical arts, though she was not properly trained. The girl taught herself most of what she knew, burying herself in the studies of the occult.

    Without her asking, at least intentionally, she was given the ability to see the past, future, and present events in dreams. At first she could function, only having these oracles at night in her sleep, but eventually this gift became a curse. She gained the attention of mages, humans, and vampires who delved in the magical. The girl lived like a beacon, unable to suppress her power or hide it.

    One night, she was attacked by a vampire on her way home from university. By instinct to preserve her life, she used her power on her attacker, riddling him with the madness that comes with seeing the past, present, and future all at once until this ability fried his brain and sent him to final death. However, using her power, even to protect herself came with a cost. No longer does the visions only come in sleep. They come to her in waking, eventually running her life. In rare moments she could be lucid and "awake" enough to converse, but the moments never came long. The girl walked in The Dreaming constantly, but thankfully, she gained herself some powerful benefactors.

    Nisha placed herself in service of the highest bidder. Her first client also being a mentor. A druid that also happened to be her occult professor. The professor gave her a gift in exchange for her first oracle, a ghoul by the name of Tiny. Tiny acts as Nisha's bodyguard and occasionally her lover, protecting her from the demons of the Dreaming and those that would dare to harm her in waking.

    Due to her beauty, perception, and the money gained from her oracles, Nisha lives a life of luxury. To protect her identity as an Oracle and her clients, she lives a double life as a local celebrity, model, and owner of the Magic Library bookstore franchise.

    When she needs a break from The Dreaming, Nisha could be seen heavily imbibing in alcohol and various vices such as pills, snow, and other substances. Tiny always sticks by her side and she is hardly ever alone.
