Orca Harissa

Orca is a chef stricken with wanderlust and oblivious to danger. He is thrilled by the prospect of adventure and his goals aren't swayed by the possibility of death, despite his complete inability to fight. Orca wishes to explore the world and delve into the mysterious and almost always dangerous domains of scary and magical beings. He isn't interested in the fame or fortune to be gained from them, however, instead wanting to know what food he can make from the monsters contained within. There are many chefs that use exotic creatures in their dishes, but only a small few can say they've truly gone above and beyond. Of course, Orca doesn't wish for slaughter either, respecting what he hunts. He would be the last to try and domesticate any powerful creature, even if their meat made for a wonderful ingredient. The nature and hunt itself is a part of the cooking process too, or so Orca says. Food loses its beauty when the context around it is taken away and the meal is reduced to simply a commercial good. He does still have to make money though, so he does set up shop and charge for his food, though he won't force people into buying what they can't afford.

Orca's passion for food and cooking isn't the only facet of her personality, though the other aspects aren't the most normal either. He can be oblivious at times. He's fine in conversation, but isn't one to make a plan and has little idea of things being different on paper than they are in real life when it comes to actually going out and hunting. He has a strong body and impressive physical aptitude, which has allowed him to stay relatively unharmed, but he has no fighting skill to speak of, even lower ranked monsters that have some experience can often confuse him with their movements, Orca's durability and stamina being the main reason he "wins". And even then, he merely outlasts creatures rather than truly beating them. This has resulted in a fairly one-dimensional view of how going out for a hunt works. Because Orca himself isn't a tricky opponent, there aren't many surprises from the monsters either. Whatever he's read about is usually what happens... because it works on him most of the time. That attitude has lead to some hairy situations though, both for him and those he works with. Some of his partners do just consider him a bit of bad luck, but Orca's a good person at heart.

All in all, Orca is a kind soul and wants to extend the joy of eating good food to anyone he can. Though he's a bit oblivious and prone to getting into dangerous scenarios, with the right partner he can even be helpful and he is the slightest bit adorable, though his pet - Soot - is clearly number one in that regard and he will bite anyone that says otherwise.
