Tactical Note: She frequently uses the Mordhau grip (striking with the pommel) to bypass heavy armor and Half-Swording to use the blade as a short-spear for precision thrusts against spellcasters.
Background Summary: A scholar-knight trained within the Great Library of Candlekeep. Aislinn was dispatched to investigate a "logistics anomaly" in a Zhentarim trading post near Darkhold. What she found was a human trafficking ring specializing in "Arcane Commodities." Eschewing the neutrality of her order, she "confiscated" the most promising asset—a young boy named Alaric—and burnt the Zhentarim ledger to the ground. She now travels the Sword Coast under the authority of the First Reader, hunting rogue magi while teaching Alaric that magic is a tool for order, not a shackle for the weak.

Appearance: Pale and somewhat gaunt from years of Zhentish "optimization" programs. He has dark, messy hair and watchful, nervous eyes. He wears practical traveler’s robes reinforced with leather straps for carrying Aislinn’s spare scrolls and whetstones.
Primary Tool: A blackened iron rod (Arcane Focus) salvaged from the Zhentarim lab.
Background Summary: As an orphan of the Zhentarim orphanage program, Alaric was never intended to be a person—he was a product. His natural aptitude for Abjuration was exploited to create "unbreakable" holding cells for other captives. Since his "theft" by Aislinn, he has struggled to adapt to a life where he has a choice. He serves as Aislinn’s tactical support, using his shields to anchor the battlefield while she maneuvers. To the Zhentarim, he is a "Lost Asset" worth a significant bounty; to Aislinn, he is a student who must learn that his power belongs to him, not a guild.
