Leana

Lamia are enchantress's. Known to lure men to their deaths with their powerful enchantment. To even be within the vicinity of a Lamia is to fall under the spell. But not all Lamia are made the same and most do things rather differently. In the great expanse, even the seemingly impossible is possible.

When life began for Leana, nothing was really as it looked. She was born like others but her skin shone a brilliant rainbow coloration. She was teased by the others but this coloration would only come to be known as the "Mark of Miracle". In the ancient legends, those Lamia that wore this coloration was said to be chosen specifically by the goddess to carry out an elegance known as Purification.

This was used as a broad term for her race and purification can mean many things. Unlike other Lamia, Leana was born with Venom. However it's nature was unlike anything the elders had seen in their years. By being different she was treated as such. A fact she has been forced to grow up with her entire life. Taken away for secretive training, left far from the little friends she had.

Taught to hone her poison for more than a weapon. Within an old book she found the means for a purifying poison. Poison that does not kill but heals. As she learned from the book and combat from another, she became well versed in many situations. Even taught elegant speech, to be able to coerce those she wished with mere words. An aspect that would lead her not only into trouble but a potential path of darkness.

On the eve of her four hundreth birthday, when she was considered of age to her race. A terrible calamity struck her city. Powerful creatures known as Vampires raided her home and killed many of her sisters. Some brutally bitten to death and others drained of everything. She fought just like the others and in the midst of the fight. She was crushed by several rather skilled vampires. They bit and attempted to drink her dry, however her poison was already apart of her blood stream.

This led to them being 'purified'. To which their bodies turned pale golden and shattered to dust. This got the attention of the rest of the raid. Which her closest sister begged her to run. At the overwhelming force before her, and the last of her village. She fled and outpaced her attackers. All thanks to the orange moon for rising and stripping the vampires of their power. For the next years of her life, she was always in fear of them hunting her. Will she ever see peace?
