Simplistic lifestyle is often times the better option than complication. When all one needs is the will to survive and the knowledge to do so. What else would one ever need? Perhaps time tells its mysteries.

In an age much older than times now. Giants and humans once lived in full harmony with one another. However as all things go and the selfish human race. A simple feud began between a giant who had too much of the creature, and a human who blamed the giant race for everything. Their resulting fight and argument had more intention within it than either wanted. It sparked a fire within those humans, this fire erupted into an inferno of hatred. This led to war and eventual near extinction of the giants.

Humans used their slowness against them and managed to find the crux of all giants. With great size comes great flaws and it was quickly and viciously exploited. Yet amidst the turmoil, a human and a giant found a forbidden love. The giantess bore two children. One died at birth, the other was taken away by the father. Humans and their feelings were fickle at best.

Here the father raised the child. Named him Nerin and though the boy was a half giant, he was treated still like a third rate beast. All his life growing up he had only a few things going for his life. All strength and no brains made him somewhat of a simpleton. For years he lived as a bodyguard, laborer, mercenary. Until he finally met his sister and was saved by her. Now he travels with her and happily goes wherever she takes him.
