Life is a war, be it personal or global. It affects even the smallest of creatures. Yet it's through that turmoil that heroes are born and those destined for greatness. In the end, its how legends are born and legacies are left behind. How ruin leads to tragedy and rebirth.

War was all the world knew. Due to an argument and hate pushed upon the giant race. The war was crippling for all giants. Humans in their irrational fears led to nearly the extinction of a once proud race. It was that fear that led giants to believe that humans were something to not only fear but kill. In the end, self defense was all it was, or was that also the truth both sides had a play in the war.

Of course forbidden love is not often overlooked. For one giantess she fell for a human male. Bearing him two children, however one did not make it and died. In her weakened state and while she rested, he took their only surviving child from her. When she awoke, he was gone and she fell into rage and depression. This anger led her to killing many humans. This behavior got the attention of a male. A leader of a roving band of giants. The years it took to reel in her anger. Bore him a singlular child. A female giantess named Kiara.

Kiara was brought up in a time of war and death. She was however shorter than the other giants. But her shortness made little difference. Sure she was made fun of but her talent as a warrior and her smarts, let her floor any giant that challenged. She was given the name of 'Iron Maiden'.

As the years went by, she had slowly become the leader of the band. Succeeding her father and mother. But she was told that she had a half brother. This lead her to leaving the band temporarily in search of her brother. Eventually saving him from a large group of humans that were attempting to cause him harm.

In the following years she had brought her brother along and went on a long journey. She learned about him and he her. She found out he was a complete idiot but strong and agile. She would face anything with him. Regardless of what was in their future.
