Epox was born to a random family on the planet Barzon, a planet known for con-men and swindlers. As such he leaned from an early age how to fight, con and out hustle his friends rather than just being common. One such way he excelled was learning the art of engineering, were he soon learned enough to create or build anything he wished, provided he had the right material. By the time he reached manhood, he was already creating nick-knacks he would sell (at a profit) to his fellow Barzonians, until earning enough money to buy a ship and set out in space to find his fortune!
As a Barzonian, he is rather strong, capable of lifting twenty tons over his head with ease, and even more with stress. His blue hide is capable of tanking most attacks and the horns on his head allow him to read the thoughts of other races, mostly the weak minded ( a trick any swindler could use) as well as prevent him from being controlled mentally, He is extremely agile allowing him to preform athletic stunts far above what most would consider normal and as an engineer he has created several 'tool' to help him out.
One such tool is his trusty trident, a weapon of sorts that he always keeps by his side. It is retractable for easy carrying and even the bladed tip recoil and retract depending on how he wishes to fight with it. It is capable of absorbing other energy sources and even fire electricity at different levels. In a crunch it can be used as a makeshift jet back (or broom) but only for short levels of flight. It also has a remote control device that makes it return to his hand should he ever drop it or leave it behind.
