Wily, wiry and standing at an unimpressive height of 5'8, the Vernid was composed of flashing fangs, and hues of rust, coal, caramel and sand. A long lashing tail bore a stripped tuft on the end, and his two toned hair was a wild untamed mess. Long slender ears flicked and twitched at every noise, and a long forked tongue often darted out to taste the air around him. Vivid green eyes held slit reptilian pupils, and there was something almost viper-ish in his movements. Misfortune had plagued much of his life, and now was no different. The vagabond street thug now found himself behind bars, with a golden lion collar around his neck.
