Soleil

Standing at 5’ 9” he’s fairly average in height. He has long fiery red hair that’s always tied back in a braid that extends all the way to his lower back, and tanned skin that gets a little darker or lighter depending on where he is at the current moment. His eyes are golden and look like tiny suns, hence the reason for his name. His choice of clothing in almost any weather may seem a little odd to some, but it is the standard clothing for men in his tribe. He doesn’t wear a shirt, and wears very baggy pants that resemble harem pants, as well as earrings and a necklace made from claws or fangs of creatures his tribe hunts.

Soleil is literally a ray of sunshine. He's overly positive and optimistic despite being forced to leave everything he knew at a young age and never truly having a place to call home. It is nearly impossible to get on his bad side, let alone have him feeling down, but when he does get upset, he makes sure it is known to everyone around him. He's a quick learner and he actively seeks out new learning opportunities whenever he can and from whoever is willing to teach him, therefore he can actually be quite knowledgeable despite his bumbling nature. Soleil is so eager to learn because he's never seen the world outside of his desert tribe and so most things are new experiences for him. even in a fight or in moments where his life is being threatened, he will always pose questions to the enemy about their methods or their magic. He just can't help himself when he sees something he doesn't understand.

Soleil is extremely energetic, to the point where sitting still is a challenge for him, one he has yet to overcome. If forced to stay in one place for long periods of time, Soleil will fidget and has often been caught by law enforcement lighting small objects ablaze. He absolutely adores fire, always looking for new ways to use his fire magic to create bigger and more explosive spells. His more recent endeavors have been creating flames hot enough that they burn blue, and making his fire take the shape of small creatures. His efforts have so far been in vain but he is tenacious when it comes to practicing fire magic.

Soleil may be extremely naive and overly trusting of others, but his knowledge of the wilderness is second to none. His travels have taken him across all sorts of biomes and he's learned invaluable survival stategies from the locals of whatever location he visits so he is a must have for any party of adventurers looking to travel through harsh environments.

To travel with Soleil means signing yourself up for the adventure of a lifetime. I mean this quite literally because Soleil's entire life is just one big adventure and there is never a dull moment to be had. Whether he's on the run from authorities, battling powerful mages just for fun, or even outdrinking the regulars at a tavern, Soleil is never in the same place for long and wherever he does go, he's sure to leave his mark on those he meets.
