Estacia

Estacia was born with magic. It was very evident even at a young age that she had potential. And the power only became more obvious as she grew older. Magic wasn't overly common, especially among humans, but for someone of Estacia's level was exceptionally rare. By time she hit her teens, she had no one at her level. She was, at least known, one of - if not the - most powerful sorceresses in the land.

The problem of course is that with so much power and not having the right guidance, one could easily be mislead or go down a different path. And, when you have no rival, it might not be long before arrogance becomes an attribute.

One can argue that it might have had a good start or maybe not - one would have to dig a lot deeper into Estacia's younger years to see her true motivation. But when you are powerful and can do so much, it isn't a far leap to start to actually start to influence around you. And unfortunately, it wasn't long before Estacia realized she could rule. That someone of her capability should be in charge. After all, why not? She had the power. There was no one who was at her level or her equal. Men got to be kings and a lot of them were that because they were born to one. Why couldn't someone with actual power be in charge?

And the stronger she gets, the less individuals are able to stop her. It won't be long before entire kingdoms would kneel at her feet and her empire would stretch across the land.
