In a time and place long forgotten by the mortal world, within the deep woods dappled in the moonlight's ethereal glow, amid the boughs of a felled tree, was a girl miraculously born. Blonde of hair and sprightly of step, a child of the night, through and through.
Growing amid the wild spirits of the forest the heavens above would come to favor her most, confiding in her secrets and forbidden knowledge untold. A connection she'd develop to the moon and the celestial bodies that dot the night sky, divination her calling, twilight thereafter her canvas by which to wield magics most potent.
With the passing of time she would become known by the simpler folk of her realm. Courted as a witch of the woods, beseeched for blessing and aid alike. Though her fae-like origins could not be dulled, games and trickery were always afoot!
...Years would pass and the forests would still. The spirits missing. Simpler folk - all gone.
Alone...
A new friend spoke to her in that darkest period, in such eloquent prose no less! It would bid her seek other realms by which to find lively splendor as once blessed her home. So she did as it instructed and tore fabric of time and space asunder. Now what a pair, the wandering witch and her mysterious benefactor, traversing the dark paths betwixt worlds in search of new playmates and fun! -
Name: Luna - A name spoken to her by the spirits of the forest long, long ago. A cherished keepsake she refuses to surrender in the face of absolute loss.
Age: Timeless - Appears as if she is merely a few summers past her twentieth.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral - Her freedom and joy are paramount to her identity. The pursuit and preservation of such can unfortunately lead to less than savory outcomes for some, should they find themselves on the receiving end of her whimsy.
Voice Inspiration: Other Mother - Much like the Other Mother from Coraline before showing her true self her voice is honeyed and pleasant to the ears.
