Apparently I can't have everything my way? Weird

Joseph enjoys a comfortable lifestyle as a student pursuing his degree, thanks to the financial support provided by his parents. This assistance allows him to afford the rent for his upscale apartment. However, after completing his first year of studies, Joseph's parents insisted that he secure a job at his father's law firm to continue receiving financial support. Unwilling to succumb to a mundane job at the law firm, the rebellious 23-year-old opted to take a different path. He walked right into the nearest gas station and landed a job there. Over the course of nearly a year at the gas station, Joseph worked irregular shifts, frequently calling in sick. Although his manager is displeased with his inconsistent attendance, the manager faces a dilemma—firing Joseph would leave him struggling to find a replacement for the unwanted night shifts. Being a nightowl himself, Joseph doesn't really mind taking these shifts. There are rarely many costumers, so he basically just gets to slack off, which is the perfect job in his eyes.

Joseph is now 24 and a bit of a loner. He learned long ago that money can buy friends, but only for a little while. So he has friends, but mostly only for a night or two, until they start boring him.

Joseph grew up in a big house, with a swimmingpool and a spiral staircase. Him and his younger sister never lacked anything. They always had the best nannies raising them as they were growing up, and the cleaners made sure that the house was always nice. While their parents worked a lot, Joseph has always had a pretty close bond with his sister, who he's pretty protective of, even if they don't see eachother that often anymore
