    Enthusiastic, optimistic, and bubbly, Monika loves meeting new people. She's always open to making new friends, and her extroversion drives her to enjoy parties and other social gatherings. One could mistakenly construe her and her friendliness for airheadedness, but make no mistake: She doesn't hesitate to confront people and get snappy when her boundaries are violated, even if she herself sometimes takes on more emotional burden than she can chew.

    Usually very casual and cheery, she is very detailed, focused, and methodical when it comes to things she's passionate about, namely baton twirling. She's a dedicated instructor with high expectations, although not unkind. Most people who know Monika would describe her as incredibly sweet and caring, even if sometimes to a fault.

    Monika's natural hair color is blonde, although she dyes it a bright neon-orange that she contends is "technically a natural color", as per the majorette squad guidelines. Her eyes are wide, round, striking green. She usually coats their pale lashes with a generous amount of pitch-black mascara and lines them with downturned black liner, dusting her lids with some sort of pale shimmer on most days. She also wears clear or sparkly lip gloss.

    While she often tones it down for baton practices, she opts to wear clothing and accessories reminiscent of the 2000s/2010s scene style: Form-fitting clothes, colorful patterns, leggings, long socks, handmade accessories, a lot of low-rise stuff, etc. Sometimes she's less colorful and wears less accessories, but the vibe is still there, and her style doesn't seem to hinder her vibrant social life.

    Monika grew up in the American suburbs, although her parents were native to Poland. Her family was always very close-knit, consisting of herself, her parents, her older brother Jan, and eventually her baby sister Lena. Her childhood holds a lot of positive memories. She had been a baton twirler since she was young, and naturally joined her high school's majorette squad her freshman year. She became captain of the team her senior year, and still holds that position now. Her grades aren't fantastic, but she's popular and friendly with nearly everyone.

    However, what Monika doesn't talk about is a friend she had in early high school.
