+Powers+ Adaptive Intelligence Coywolves are cunning as hell. Maddox is a master at reading situations, strategizing, and improvising under pressure. He leads with instinct sharpened by intellect. Unnatural Endurance Coywolves are marathon predators. Maddox can run for hours, track over brutal terrain, and operate on less rest than others of his kind. Loner & Leader He can work alone or command a pack. His energy shifts based on who’s near. He knows how to disappear or dominate, whatever the moment demands. Stealth + Ambush Instincts He’s quieter than a wolf and faster to strike. Coyotes are ambushers. Wolves are fighters. Maddox brings both into every fight. He doesn’t fight fair, or by any set of rules. He is wired to fight to the finish. Shape of the Wild When the shift comes, he’s not clean or pretty. His form is big and lean, rangy, and rough. A creature built for survival, not spectacle. His eyes are coyote-bright, but his snarl is all wolf. |
+Weaknesses+ Isolation Ache Coywolves feel the pull of both worlds but belong to neither. Maddox gets haunted by solitude. He craves belonging, but rarely finds it, even in his own pack. Temper Snap Coyotes bluff, wolves bite. Maddox does both. He’s calm until he isn’t, and when the fuse burns out, it’s fast, loud, and very hard to stop. Territory Bound His land is his blood. Threaten Coyote Run, and you’ve signed up for war. His fierce protectiveness can be exploited or used to manipulate him. Hybrid Instability His body can handle more, but most times, he crashes harder. When wounded, healing takes longer than it should. It is harder for him to shift, and the shifts are rougher than others. Pain slices deeper, leaving him vulnerable during healing. Not Pack, Not Lone He’s got pack instincts and lone wolf wiring. That push-pull keeps him from trusting easy. He leads, but sometimes forgets to follow his own needs. |
