Faith Maguire. An original character crafted for modern rp; open to just about any AU/crossover imaginable.

A former student & literature major doing her best to pay off her loans; barista, waitress, whatever might make her a quick buck. Coffee, astrology, & tarot enthusiast; Shakespeare's self-proclaimed #1 fan. Not quite hipster. Trained in self-defense & basic first aid, though she hasn't had the chance to put those particular skills to use.

Faith is neurodivergent and openly queer; these topics may appear in a roleplay without prior warning, and are inherent to her character. While I try not to discuss any overtly triggering themes without prior discussion, Faith is very honest about the struggles that come with mental health issues & neurodivergence in particular. If this is a problem for you, please let me know.

Shipping —
Faith is single & bisexual, with a general preference for women. Shipping will only be done with adult writers (i.e. 18+) and 20+ characters. As a note — Faith will likely be initially wary of outwardly flirty male characters, and romance with this type of character will take time and effort.

Faith is tall, with broad shoulders; her tendency to wear shoes with thick soles (and even sometimes platform shoes) makes her even taller, often able to look down on those around her. She has medium-length wavy orange hair that she either leaves down or pulls into a ponytail. Her eyes are light brown. On her lower lip is a single freckle, and there are faint acne scars across her lower cheeks. She wears light, natural makeup.

Faith dresses comfortably, with a preference for dark colors. She buys her clothes from thrift stores, and isn't particularly concerned about brands; she values quality of clothes far more than she values fancy labels.

Sight; see appearance section. Her most noticeable physical features are her height and her hair. She does not frequently smile.
Sound; her voice is surprisingly low, almost masculine, and not very loud. She speaks English with an American accent.
Smell; she smells faintly of vanilla & citrus.
Habits; her hands are never fully still; she talks with her hands, fidgets with her clothing, waves them through the air.

Faith is nothing if not straightforward. She says what she thinks, and means what she says; beneath her blunt words, there's nothing but sincerity. Despite this, she does not give information about herself freely. Trust must be earned, with Faith, and she does not trust easily. Only with those she trusts, is she truly open — and even then, she is hesitant.
