    The reigning queen of planet Sul. The population are referred to as Sulaal. Orphi is her lover.

    [Sire to Sarr]

    An honorific title rather than a genuine blood connection. Orphi can have as many "children" as he likes, but currently has only given the title to one. Queen Cathrine is Sarr's mother, and so Sarr is declared to be Orphi's son, and treated as such by his subjects.

    [Planet Efti]

    A planet of very few visible structures. Endless fields of tall grass, swept by thick gray fog and mist. Most structures are underground, only the most important visible from the world's surface. Their architecture has very few doors - as the entire population is capable of teleportation. The population are referred to as Eftigonians, numbering in the tens of thousands. The world is kept in perpetual twilight due to it's position around a dwarf star. The planet itself is massive, but fairly hollow. It is a constructed world, not one of natural make.

    The name of the planet changes with each new generation of the population. The previous generation were Extigonians, so the home world was named Exti.

  • A Gnawing Lonesomeness

    Orphi is an Eftigonian - Magic made flesh. The overwhelming majority of the Eftigonian population is comprised of very tall, very muscular males. Their bulk is practically identical across each one of them. Even the rare female Eftigonian is tall and have defined musculature. As such, the beauty standard in their culture is small, slender builds. Orphi is the definition of the Eftigonian beauty standard. He receives constant praise and worship for his beauty. Additionally, the more an Eftigonian can suppress their racial traits, the more beautiful they are. Orphi is uniquely skilled in this as well. His hair is jet black, with deep blue, nearly-black eyes. He possesses unique Fog, which is also a nearly-black shade of blue.

    His temperament is quiet. A constant state of melancholy. He is pained by a constant feeling of lonesomeness. He often travels slums and slave markets in disguise, looking for a new "pet" to bring with him in an effort to cheer himself up. He also maintains a nearly constant gala in his great hall. A party that never ends. Full of his most noble citizens. Yet still, he feels alone. A deep sense of superiority has been brainwashed into him since the day he was born - and as such, even the slightest disrespect can earn unsympathetic death from the king of Efti.

    This scene takes place between Orphi and Levi.
    Levi acts as a Page for Orphi, sending and receiving messages for the king in his free time.
    But, Levi is still loyal to Orphi's father. The previous King. Levi declares himself a member of his father's court.
    Still, Orphi often calls upon Levi when he is feeling particularly lonesome.

    This takes place soon after Gabin awakened/malfunctioned, and left Sarr's service.
    Orphi is in the middle of one of his never-ending galas, but has summoned Levi to discuss the matter.
    Levi has brought the human responsible for Gabin's malfunction, who possesses an Empath ability.

    The one called King took notice of Leviathan, a distance of about twenty feet between the two of them. His half-lidded, stoic gaze lingered on his Page for a moment, and then he tilted his head back to speak up into the great hall. Simply saying -
    "Depart."

    Without hesitation, all bodies present began to disappear. Some with a blink. Others with a flash. Some with a lightning bolt, some refracted with warped jewel-like sheets of atmospheric particles. And others in a puff of ethereal smoke. It created a terrible racket - a booming, chaotic cacophony for just a moment. Until it was just Leviathan, and Orphi, and the human who had stolen Sarr's Ballod. No more music. No more conversations. No more clattering of empty dishes. Just silence. Quiet as the grave.

    The Leviathan turned the rest of the way around, now fully facing Orphi, and placed his hands behind his back. One hand wrapped around the other's wrist. Hunching forward as he began to step closer to the one he had called Lord. Calmly closing the distance between himself and the melancholy king.

    "...Sarr has lost his Ballod. He tells that you had something to do with it.", Orphi's voice echoed softly against the walls of the great hall.

    The Leviathan was walking very slowly, truly taking his time in approaching the small figure. Not from fear or apprehension, though. His heavy steps echoed louder than his lord's voice against those same stone and painted-glass walls.

    "The Ballod developed a malady of love. For a human. It was his desire to go. My lord..."
    He'd reached his destination now, coming to a stop in front of Orphi.
    Then, he lowered himself down onto one knee, bowing forward until his head was lower than the petite idol.

    "Kill the human. The ballod will reset, and return to base.", Orphi tilted his head as the Leviathan reached a hand forward, collecting Orphi's fingertips and pulling it to his lips with the gesture of a kiss.

    He lifted his head to look forward at Orphi - his sharp grin never faltered or changed. He just quietly looked at Orphi for a moment, not addressing the command he was just given. No, he was staring into the little lord. Decrypting the emotion present behind his deep blue eyes. When the Leviathan finally did speak up, it was instead to say -
    "...Even with all your guests, my lord? This party did not soothe... the loneliness that pains you so?"

    CharacterName would now become acutely aware that Eftigonian auras were not like most others. They seemed to reach much, much farther from their bodies than any other being they had yet encountered. When the Leviathan mentioned Orphi's apparent loneliness - the feeling would flood and crash in on them like they'd been dumped into a pool of quick drying cement.

    The Leviathan pulled his hands from behind his back, gently sweeping one behind Orphi's head, and closing the other around Orphi's upper arm. He pulled Orphi in, tenderly holding the little King's head against his shoulder.

    "Yasonori.. was far too cruel with you, my Lord.."
    CharacterName would feel a deep, gnawing cut. Boring into the core of them, at those words.
    "He is mistaken, not to see your grace.", Leviathan's voice was near a whisper, reassuring the little Lord.

    Orphi's eyes closed, squeezing slightly for just a moment. It was the first time he'd moved since being embraced.
    "...Is your... allegiance... to me?"

    "No, my Lord.", Leviathan's answer was immediate and certain.
    He slid the hand from Orphi's arm to spread across his upper back. "I cannot serve two kings."

    Orphi's hands rose weakly, overly-long silk sleeves whistling softly as they pulled back from his slender fingers. He very lightly gripped the Leviathan's elbows. And the deep, gnawing cut that the empathic human felt would begin to twist. Like the turning of a blade.

    "I will not kill the human who has inconvenienced Sarr, beautiful Orphi.", at this point, it didn't seem as though Orphi had even noticed CharacterName whatsoever yet. They might as well have been an ant to him. It likely didn't occur to Orphi at all that CharacterName might be the human that he was referring to, even.

    "If Sarr comes for my Human or my Ballod, I will eat him.", the Leviathan's sharp words were spoken so gently, so softly, and without any faltering. A definitive promise. Orphi didn't react. He didn't object. When the Leviathan began to remove his hands from Orphi - the little king finally opened his eyes again, removing his own hands from the Page in turn.

    The Leviathan rose to his feet once more. Orphi did not try to gaze up at him. Just holding his burdensomely heavy eyes down near the polished floor of the great hall.
    "I shall send this message to Sarr myself, my Lord. Should you need me again, you need only to ask."

    No more words were said. The Page turned back toward CharacterName, walking up to them. He planted his heavy hand down on Their shoulder, and cast the both of them back into the clinging blackness.

  • [ABILITIES]

    • Race: Eftigonian
      Magic made flesh. They are living conduits to The Ether.
      There are tens of thousands of Eftigonians. Their race is born, lives and dies just like anything else. However, if they reach a certain point of development, fully awakened, they are the most overpowered beings you'll ever find. They're not immortal, but their lifespans are ridiculously long. They almost never die of old age - always accidents or combat.
      World eaters. Many consider them a plague. Others worship them as gods. They are capable of consuming entire planets, as well as creating planets.
      Capable of eating any and all forms of matter - however, in Eftigonian culture, eating is considered the biggest taboo.
      They do not need to eat to live. They never sleep. They don't need an atmosphere to live. They can survive within a vacuum.
      Their hearts do not beat. No amount of blood loss will affect them.
      They can control their own personal gravity. Able to stand on walls or ceilings, or simply float. They are often FAR heavier than they look.
    • Ethereal Fog
      Every Eftigonian can output raw magic. (Ether)
      They are able to control the lethality of the Fog. By default, the Fog is highly corrosive.
      Fog is often wine-colored. If anything comes into contact with Eftigonian Fog, it will continue to spread and eat away at the object or person until nothing remains. The condition is referred to as Eftigonian Corrosion. It can only be neutralized by an Eftigonian's white Fog.
      This is what they use to consume or construct planets, or anything too large to fit into their mouth.
      They are able to emit non-corrosive fog which is highly addictive.
      This Fog has a very short shelf-life, however. And is impossible to bottle up for more than a week, making it incredibly lucrative to farm.
      Orphi has unique Fog, the color is deep blue and possesses unique qualities.
    • Flawless Healing
      Their bodies are capable of taking tremendous physical damage. They can heal from wounds all the way down to the bone. As long as their skeleton is intact, they will heal. However, they can heal instantly by consuming saved-up healing in the form of tiny crystalline scales located where their lungs should be. This healing can even be extended to other people. It cannot heal injuries that wouldn't naturally heal given enough time, however. It won't regrow a human leg, for example. Most Eftigonians possess 2 to 4 of these scales. Orphi is highly unique in that he has found a way to repair his scales by using his other scales, in an infinite loop.
      The crystals crack apart upon use - but they do regenerate over a very long period of time.
    • Innate Teleportation
      Every single Eftigonian can teleport. However, every single Eftigonian has different rules governing how they teleport. They keep their Teleportation Morph secret. Learning what an Eftigonian's teleportation Morph is gives you control over them. The morph rule always has something to do with the individual Eftigonian's nature, at the core of their being. As an example - an Eftigonian's morph might be something like: They are able to warp to any location where they have written their name down. Or, to any object that they own and love. Orphi is unique in that it appears that he has no limit on his teleportation ability. But there is a limit. There is a morph rule at play. Simply, nobody has discovered what it might be.
    • Orb-Magic
      Another unique ability of Orphi's. This is considered the very peak of Ethereal Power.
      He is able to produce orbs of raw, chaotic manifestation. He is able to control the quality of these orbs to seemingly limitless degree. Able to conjure black holes, or entire pocket realities. Endless dreamworlds, nightmarescapes, or reality marbles of looping memories. This power is EXTREMELY unstable, and utilizing it too much can break Orphi's mind. It is one of very few S-tier abilities in the Divine Realm.

  • [WEAKNESSES]

    • Fire and Water
      They're just plain weak to fire. Highly flammable bodies and Fog. On the flip-side, they're practically immune to the cold. Water also weakens them considerably. It is very disorienting for them. While it doesn't actually hurt them, being drenched makes them almost entirely inert.
    • Hunger
      Every single Eftigonian is constantly starving. Endless, gnawing starvation. Offering them food to eat is considered incredibly rude. It is their culture's greatest taboo.
    • Sensitive Ears
      Their ears work like antennae. It is how they detect ether. How they are able to translate any language spoken to them. They can read electrical signals from living bodies with them. To damage their ears will grind them to a halt immediately. You will never see one with pierced or decorated ears. Many express revulsion to the topic of damaging ears.
    • Reproductive Troubles
      It is incredibly difficult for an Eftigonian to find a compatible host for their offspring. However, they can reproduce with any sentient race. Regardless of gender. Their offspring are parasitic in nature, and require some unknown component in order to gestate properly. A non-physical nutrient which only the parent Eftigonian seems to be able to detect. Often, only an Eftigonian that is related to them directly is compatible - however, mating with a related Eftigonian is considered highly taboo.
    • Cowardess
      Orphi was raised to be a weapon. But he is not a fighter at heart. He is not comfortable with the leadership role he was born into. He has suffered much in his life due to his hesitation in making frightening decisions. His lack of kingly ruthlessness is considered a weakness by many. He has a dependent personality. But after living such a long, hard life of having this soft nature beaten out of him, he has become cruel and cold.
