• A Narbig?

  Narbig (nar-beech= means scarred in German) are Wesen who have lost their ability to Woge due to the fact they descent from inter-species relationships. The blood that runs in the veins of these hybrids has a "spell" like effect on certain species; if you drink it or contact it you become bound to the Narbig forever. It has been hinted that Narbig are in fact "bastards" spread by Ziegevolk because of their ability to charm fellow Wesen. The same does not apply to humans however.
  
  Appearance/Social behavior:
  
  Most Narbig take extreme care of their appearance and, while they do not socialize, will go near various Wesen with the purpose of claiming them as her own. The species mostly alarmed to their presence are Blutbaden, because of their strong sense of smell. "You will know it when you smell one; it smells like nothing you can think of or have ever smelled before," is a common warning among Blutbaden families. While many Wesen can resist the vexing for the most part, they all finally end up enslaved. Narbig will also use other, more insidious methods to get to their pray. Such include; love potions, vexing potions, charms, or Wolfsbane -that covers up the characteristic scent of their mutated blood. Narbig are not a certified species, they do not live in groups or in awareness of each other. They are loners and each one has their own territorry.
  
  A human sees Narbig only as fellow humans. It is also extremely difficult for Grimm to tell them apart, because a Narbig will never Woge and the only way you can understand if you're dealing with one are the supernatural abilities they keep even in their human form (rarely physical, mostly mental). You can also notice plenty of scars and wounds on their bodies; these are because they cause themselves to bleed in order to attract/capture pray. Narbig often take ferum/iron supplements and lots of Vitamin C. Their favorite drink is red whine. They favor the color red in general.
  
  Relationship with other Wesen/Grimm/the Kingdoms:
  
  There is no such thing as a Wieder Narbig; all Narbig will try to harm/enslave Wesen. The reason why they do it is because they naturally feel unprotected and inferior to other creatures, since they are sickly outcasts in the Grimm world. Their relationships with the Wesen community therefore have never been good. Certain species, such as Laufenschlage, however, consider them more of a pray than a predator.
  
  Grimms have been chasing around Narbig for centuries but few have managed to do away with them. A Narbig knows its limits and, though it's harmless towards Grimms, always has a group of enslaved Wesen or animal packs protecting it. The relationship between them is more neutral than with other Wesen however, since many Grimms have used Narbig to capture Wesen.
  
  The Seven Kingdoms call the Narbig "Halfblooded" and are prejudiced against them, claiming they are cannibals. However certain rules have used Narbig to guide/control their Reapers. Narbig share a passionate relationship with Mauvais Dentes, since the Kingdoms had used them as trainers for these killer machines in other years.
  
  Human Tradition/Folklore appearances:
  
  Red Riding Hood
  
  The famous fairytale that was for years considered a warning towards human girls is in fact nothing but the story of an actual Narbig that lived in the woods, attracting nearby Wesen. The true story goes as such: the bad guy in this case is Little Red Riding Hood -the Narbig- who has taken over a Blutbad -the Big Bad Wolf. Her Granny is no one but a Hexenbiest to which she reports. Red is taking the Blutbad to Granny to be sent as a guard for the Seven Kingdoms. A hunter -the Grimm- shows up and "takes the granny and Red out of the wolf's stomach" as in spares him the Narbig blood that has mixed with the Blutbad's and keeps him hypnotized. This folklore fairytale was alterted through the years in purpose, because at that time Narbig still worked for royalty and were protected by the Kingdoms.
  
  Snow White (and the seven "dwarves")
  
  Ever seen a pack of seven rabid Maushertze? What really hapenned in this case is you had a nasty Narbig protected by them. It might sound ridiculous but the first Grimm who came upon this bizarre pack was not laughing at all; he lost a hand in this battle. This was the first time a Narbig used one of their infamous vexing techniques known as "Kiss-trap" (more explained below)
  
  The Sleeping Beauty
  
  ...Was not sleepy at all. She was wide awake in fact and waiting for some one to kiss over her bitten lip and taste the blood that poured from below. It is unknown if these practises were ever used to capture Wesen but they are extremely gross for sure. Another alteration of this story includes the same "sleeping beauty" wounding the inside of her mouth and letting it fill with blood so when the victim -the charming prince in this case- showed up she could cough it up or spit it on him.

• Biography

  Not much is known about Zanep's background.
  
  She is filed as "Assasin trainer" in the Verrat, which means she spent a short time of her life training Mauvais Dentes to hunt and kill for the royalties. It is said she developed a romantic relationship with one of her trainees and therefore was kicked out of the Verrat.
  
  
  It is also hinted that she moved to Sherwood in Portland, where she would gather an army of Wesen to return and revenge the Verrat for abandoning her. At that time she seemed to have developed a romantic relationship with Captain Renard, which ended for unknown reasons, leaving Zanep unprotected with her group of Wesen slaves.
  
  
  Zanep then turned to Blutbaden vexing, because of their strength, agility and loyalty. She started capturing and submiting them to her will. Her attempts were stopped, however, by Grimm Nick Burckhardt who banished her in the Woodlands for all time.
  
  
  It is unknown whether she survived or what she's up to next.
