• Description

  A Bronze Dragon in it's true form can be recognized by the ribbed and fluted crests sweeping back from it's cheeks and eyes. The ribs in the crests end in curving horns. These horns are smooth, dark, and oval in cross-section, and curve slightly inward toward the Dragon's spine. The largest horns grow from the top of the head. In older dragons, the smaller horns often develop secondary points although Oposs does not have these yet. The Dragon also has small horns on it's lower jaw and chin. A Bronze Dragon has a beak like snout and a pointed tongue. It has a small head frill and a tall neck frill. A Bronze Dragon also has webbed feet and webbing behind the forelimbs. It's scales are smooth and flat.
  
  A Bronze wyrmlings scales are yellow tinged with green, showing only a hint of bronze. As the dragon approaches adulthood, it's color deepens slowly to a darker, rich bronze tone. This being closer to Oposs's color. Very old Dragons develop a blue-black tin to the edge of their scales. Their pupils fade as they age, until in the oldest the eyes resemble glowing green orbs. Oposs still has the pupil in his eyes, but the iris is a rich and vibrant sea-green. A smell of sea spray lingers about them. When viewed from below, a Bronze Dragon's wings show green mottling on the back edges. The trailing edge of the wing membrane joins the body behind the rear legs, at the point where the tail meets the pelvis.
  
  Most of the alar phalanges are very short and form a a wide frill just beyond the alar thumb. The inner most phalange is the longest, and it provides most of the support for the wing along with a modified alar olecranon at the "elbow" of the alar limb. This arrangement allows the dragon to use it's wings as big fins underwater. A bronze dragon can flap it's wings when submerged and literally fly through the water.

• Biography

  His mother and father were of the same species and, on the same quest, they met each other. At first meeting they questioned one another, thinking that the other was some kind of spy sent by the organization they were tracking down. But, after a long discussion, they both realized what they were to one another. At first, one might think that two Bronze Dragons would know one another right from the get go. But, the two were under disguises so well crafted that they hid their true being from almost the ability to see through illusions. They teamed up, worked together, and brought vegeance to a criminal organization that was terrorizing an entire continent. Years passed between the two, all the while their affection grew for one another. With each new quest they took on as a pair they found a deeper and deeper connection grow. Eventually they became life mates, having a clutch of their own and a family to raise. Both parents stayed, raised the children and protected them from both poachers and other Dragons. Eventually the children grew and all scattered to the four winds in order to make their own lives.
  
  Oposs was one of four, who traveled in a direction as a young juvenile in order to carve out his own existance within the world. He flew for a few days and nights until he came upon the coast of a continent that was bordered on three sides by water. The shore consisted of the finest grains of sand, which gave way towards the north to a jagged and rugged cliff side that spanned a mile or more. On the opposite end of the sea was a massive expanse of forest that went on as far as the eye could see. This was it, he thought. This was where he was going to make his living. So he began working on making a Lair, finding many underground caverns. He made some alterations, but ultimately it was turned inot a fine domicile. Over the years of his life he defended his land from raiders, small contingencies of troops from massive armies and even other dragons. All the while taking the treasure from those evil enough to try and conquer the land in the name of anything less than lawful. Along with this, pirates that were known to plunder found themselves dealt serious blows by his straffing runs. Sinking ships was a passtime for him, while saving those that were in need was another.
  
  He had been dwelling within his coastal home for years, protecting his lair and the surrounding territory that he claimed with it. Everytime something came about it was put to a swift end, but life itself was rather mundane. Occasionally ship wrecked sailors would need assistance or pirates would need to be put down, but there was never much to life for this Bronze Dragon. Years went by, he gathered treasure, met adventurers and never really did anything amazing. In his life though, especially here recently, there had been remarkable traffic to his territory. Perhaps it was because he was on the verge of Adulthood, thus his presence as a dragon was drawing more and more attention to him. It started with another dragon entering his territory, a belligerant Wyrm who goes by He Who Resides Between Life and Death. He had a cohort with him and, from what Oposs gathered, they planned to do some destructive test runs on some sort of weaponry. He didn't want his home destroyed so Oposs took matters into his own hands and told them to stop or leave. The half breed dragon argued belligerantly with him but eventually showed why, vomiting up profuse amounts of liquor. From that moment on Oposs said that this dragon could use his territory to recover. Earlier in that day he had met a lovely young elven female named Violet.
  
  A day or two had passed by this time, everything was going well. After a long and peaceful journey around his territory in order to make sure that nothing was amiss he landed cleanly upon the beach and took to sun bathing. Eventually two more traveled onto the beach, one was a creature that seemed much like a dragon but was vastly different at the same time. The other was the half breed he had met before, He Who Resides Between Life and Death. It was such a long and terrible name. But, after a short discussion, the creature attacked the Half breed and a small fight insued. When it was over the beast left, with the Half breed dragon taking off after it. Oposs, at that point, shrugged it off and went back to Sun bathing. That evening he was out and about again, patrolling his territory, when a portal was opened and someone stepped through. This woman, who was soon revealed as Khiralas, had dark skin pointed ear and tenticle like appendages coming from her back. Oposs and this woman conversed, before another came onto the scene after skulking in the shadows. This man was met with a lightning bolt, but spared death due to Khiralas wanting to speak to him. Disappearing in a portal before anything further could be done.
  
  On another fine day another dragon was met while Oposs was talking to his friend Violet. She landed hard upon the beach and the two moved to meet her, seeing that she was injured. Her color was gold, but her wings were feathered. Violet removed arrows from her wings, healing her through natural magics soon after, which allowed the three to converse. Her name was Pan and she was given permission to stay within his lands for as long as she liked. The days went on, sielently and wonderfully, each day he discovered something new. Eventually a woman stumbled upon his lands, wearing the clothing of men. He questioned her after returning from a scavenger hunt, finding out that she was a mute. Her name was Skylar and she was a run away slave. Her eyes though were what attracted that Brozne Dragon, feeling his hording nature kick in strongly he realized he had to have her among his treasures. He offered her employment, a place to stay and his protection with payment for services rendered. She agreed and thus became the polisher of his horde. A house was carved into the cliffside, where the rocks met the forest. Made specifically for her.
  
  During another nice day within his territory he had been rooting through his horde, picking out things that he wanted polished. Oh yes, it was time to put Skylar to work despite the fact that it wasn't that bad of a job. To him, it was a simple thing but very important. He loved the shine of his shiney things and wished to make sure that the flair they hold is maintained. So he gathered it into a sack and took flight, leaving his Lair only to land within the forest at Skylars cottage. He gently knocked upon the door, to which she answered, and got her first job since her coming to The Coast. As Oposs explained what he wanted done, and gave her adequate payment for her services, he felt the presence of Pan and thus sought her out. The Golden one was roused and brought to meet Skylar, the two seeming to take well to one another. It was then a loud sound broke through the area, drawing Oposs's attention. He left the trees and took to the sky, soaring over the cliffs only to find a massive Blue Dragon. The size was beyond comprehension and Oposs had feared his territory was in serious trouble. But, after talking with the beast known as Zen'To, Oposs offered his service to help his Elderly brother and thus was shown the way to his realm.
