• Biography

  This woman's story began with her life as an orphan. Her mother and father peasants slain by bandits that preyed upon villages in a time of war. She moved on with refugees from the village into a nearby city, but with no one to care for her she began to work for a local thug who taught her to pick pocket. This is how she spent her childhood, skirting the law and slipping valuables from people upon the street.
  
  When she was ten the thug sold her to a band of mercenaries looking for fodder on the front line to absorb enemy arrows or to spring traps. The next five years of her life were hectic as she managed to survive, luck being partially responsible, various battles. She became increasingly agile to stay alive as she was pitted against archers on the battle field and sent out to spring traps along with her fellow child soldiers.
  
  The campaign grew more heated and after a failed siege band took refuge in the forest. The enemy attacked the retreating forces and caught them unprepared. As the enemy forces surrounded and killed the bulk of the band during an ambush she lead the remaining children from the battle.
  
  With nowhere to go the children turned to robbery. Lead by Goldyva and using strategy they had picked up from the mercenaries who used them, they began to rob merchant vessels going down the river into the city. Due to merciless tactics they became quickly feared due to their massive success. This brought about attention from bounty hunters and mercenaries as they began to gather a price on their head.
  
  Hunted for many years the band slowly began to dissolve through death and members leaving. Eventually Goldyva was alone and started her life as a wandering mercenary and thief.

• Arsenal

  Combat Dagger: This steel dagger is simple with a nine inch blade and a tapered, armor piercing tip. Its spine has saw notches.
  
  Kukri: A forward angled, weighted machete with a steel blade.
  
  Mouth Darts: These darts are hollow needles coated in wax paper tips. Inside is often a lining of hemotoxic venom that causes severe degeneration of tissue if untreated. Each dart is held inside of a small, wooden flute that facilitates it being fired from the mouth.
  
  Eye Crushers: This powder, sometimes put in empty egg shells, is a combination of hot pepper, coarse sand, and shaved metal.
  
  Caltrops and Marbles: Mixed or separated these anti-movement tools are used to hinder or damage opponent's who try to cross over them.

  Arbalest: This heavy crossbow has impressive power over a great range as well as possessing immaculate accuracy.
  
  Repeating Crossbow: This crossbow lacks power, but is capable of being quickly cranked, loaded, and fired with impressive medium range accuracy.
  
  Sling Bow: This customized crossbow has twin steel bows that crisscross to form a sling. Projectiles are fired from a bag. This weapon's range in accuracy is dependent on it's ammunition, but is generally considered short range.
