• Biography

  After Harriet's parents passed when she was seven, she was raised by her two older brothers, Wilhelm and Ludwig. They didn't always get what they wanted, but always made sure they had what they needed. And for a while, everything was fine. And then the war started, sending Wilhelm and Ludwig off to the trenches.
  
  Harriet received letters from them almost weekly for almost a year. And then Wilhelm's letters stopped coming. A few months later, Ludwig had vanished as well.
  
  Harriet fell into a deep depression after her brothers' disappearances. She grew to speaking to portraits of them as though they were still home, just to keep their house from going quiet. She grew to hate the silence living alone brought. She became a recluse of sorts, not wanting to see her brothers' friends returning home to their families when Wilhelm and Ludwig did not.
  
  And then one afternoon an Allied Pilot crashed his plane behind her house...
