• Description

  Griffin wears normally a whole black attire, his head wrapped in black fabric, and only seen is his eyes, which are a pale hazel-green, beneath he always has this sly like look, black hair that's always messy, about jaw length, doesn't shave a lot so he always has bristles. He has a black cloak that he can turn inside out for gray rather then black. Black vest, black long sleeved shirt, lower arm is covered with bracers, hands wrapped in bandages, has a plain gold ring of no meaning besides just being there on his pinkie finger on the left hand. A black-gray mask/ninja style head wrap, brown belt with pouches, and small bags containing items in them. A belt comes over his chest of which on the other side holds a iron sword with a gray leather wrapped handle. He is 5,9 and weighs 154 pounds. Has scars under his clothes from old battles. Most are just white lines now.He has 20 Shurikens (4 bladed)link held in a sturdy leather pouch on his hip, a staff that is a dark wood color, a dragon head carved at the top holding a brighter colored piece of wood shaped as a ball polished to a shine in its jaws.(Weapon not enchanted. Every Wizard has to have a staff thought.) and last but not least his weapon is an iron Ninjato. None of which have any magical relation/powers.

• Biography

  Griffin was born to a wizardess mother and a Ninja father. His father always pressured him into picking one or the other, but being a bit courageous, he defined odds and said he was going to be a ninja wizard.
  From a young age, after deciding to be a ninja wizard, he was ping-ponged between working with his mother in the house on spells to learn, and stealth and sword fighting with his father. It was stressful, but it was definitely what he wanted. Most of the other children, whose parents where either warriors and maidens, or just a mage, wizard, any thing like that, would make fun of him for his choice, which brought him down, but at the same time, made him work harder to show that he was going to be a Ninja Wizard.
  At age 16 he was relatively done training from his father, and learned as much as he could from his mother. Griffin was at this point a rather curious lad, which lead him into learning a few other skills, one on his own; Alchemy and learning to use a Celtic flute, which isn't as important to his history as the Alchemy part.
  At 17 while practicing alchemy his stomach started to hurt, so, thinking about how he could make it feel better, Griffin took some healing herbs and oils, the whole nine yards, and put it together. Since after a 5 minute time period of standing 20 feet away from it he decided he could drink it. Of course he wasn't too sure this was a good think or not, but guessing it would be fine, he drank up the potion.
  Griffin was fairly annoyed when it didn't work but he shrugged it off as just a what ever and went back to trying to make a few more potions, all of which sort of didn't work out well. 10 minutes later he started to feel worse, his joints stiffening and body aching. After only 20 minutes he was curled up on the floor, breathing in a sharp, jerking sort of way, twitching and quivering in pain. This lasted for about an hour, a very long hour, and finally he was fine. Griffin got up, and went back to working on his potions, since he wasn't to worried, supposing that was just some sort of very painful paralyzing spell he made, until he went to the washroom.
  Looking into the mirror he practically fainted when he saw right eye was a gold, cat one, sort of shaped like a cats as well. His ears where now slightly tipped. What ever potion he made, he was not about to repeat it.
  Basically from then until he was roughly 25 he was really just a lone traveler, hardened by fights and battles he had gotten himself into, and was relatively mute. Now he hardly ever stopped at Inn's unless he had money for good ones, where drunks and whores wouldn't be swarming like flies to honey.
  At this point Griffin was broke as a peasant, and was getting thin, weak and very much desperate. He would literally do anything for a quick buck- almost anything, actually. He had a break though when he heard a town near by was in trouble from some sort of insect monster. He prayed to god this would get him a good amount of money, and not a good amount of scars and blood loss.
  Griffin instantly headed towards this town, in hopes he would get money to get out of this tight spot. Once there he was rather baffled. They seemed perfectly fine. Who the hell thought this up? Clearly someone who wanted to pull a cruel joke on the Ninja Wizard, perhaps one of his childhood friends. Griffin just went to an alley way, and slowly fell asleep there, little did he know he would be cruelly awoken later.
  At least around mid night something woke him up...A crawling like sound...And it wasn't all to welcoming to his ears, since it was a cross with crawling and metal scraping. Curious he seeked it out, and the instant he left that alley way he was awestruck and dumbstruck. Well that was no lie. There was this huge, centipede like creature at least 20 feet long in the town, eating someones pet goat. Swallowing his fear Griffin dropped his cloak and backpack on the ground, his small bags of items, well all besides the Shuriken bag, before going full speed towards the beast , holding his staff in both hands over his head. Once at the beast, he smashed the staff on the tail, only pissing it off.
  Now with the over sized bug looking at him, its pinchers open wide for attack, he started to get ready to battle, because, well, he knew he would have too as this point. Griffin basically hopped and bounded around it, knowing running was a really stupid Idea. Two legs are much worse then something like 100 legs. In all this hops and bounds to dodge attacks, it actually got him right into one attack, and the bug clipped it with its pinches on his leg, hoisting him up in the air and throttling him like a piece of meat.
  Griffin screamed out, he being in terrible pain. The saliva the bug had was poisonous, and burned to holy hell and back. He had no way to attack, seeing his staff on the ground, and his Ninjato had slid out of its stealth onto the ground when he was being violently tossed about in the bugs jaws. Having nothing to attack, knowing his Shurikens where basically useless, he felt around his belt, for where he put his smoke bombs. Putting his hand in the pouch while the bug stopped shaking, he managed to pull something out. Not a smoke bomb, but a potion- and his memory flashed to what it was; the one that he made when he was 17. Instantly he tore the small cork off and threw the potion down the beasts huge mouth.
  Moments later the bug dropped Griffin's wounded body to the ground, the pain making him scream out, but he stopped when he noticed the bug reacting to the potion, boils appearing on its abdomen, and bursting, making oozing green blood come out on to ground. The bug was clearly dying of blood loss, that was for sure. Griffin let out an uneven sigh of success, and just passed out there and then, not even caring about his items.
  The next day he was awaken to breakfast, a money bag full of gold and a warm Inn room bed. His items piled in the corner of the room neatly, his wound apparently wrapped up, and a man who must of been the towns mayor, thanking him over and over for his good deed.
  Griffin was told that this town would always give him free in service when he came, though, Griffin doubted he would be there ever again, but thanked the Mayor.
  After healing up, Griffin simply started traveling again, hoping to put the bug issue behind himself. The scar was still there, on his left leg where it managed to bite him, black and ugly looking, but it was more of a little badge that he did something with his life, and for that he was happy. From that point on Griffin simply traveled and traveled some more, doing deeds SOMETIMES for assassins but mostly normal stuff.
