• Description

  A general tough guy and thick headed ignoramus, Manking lives only for 4 things; becoming bigger and stronger, gaining the admiration of everybody, winning at everything, and honey mead. He loves his honey mead, and loves more to get it for free by impressing or threatening everybody into buying it for him. To go with his self-stated perfect manliness and his impressive physical conditioning, Manking refuses to wear a shirt, only dressing in a plain shoulder-to-knee red cape, held on by a contrastingly ornate white gold brooch, and a pair of tight leather pants. He also wears a strange crown which appears to be four muscular arms in a circle. He tends a perfect cover of manly stubble which connects his also perfect, also manly sideburns.

• Biography

  Manking was taken from his parents at the age of six in the middle of the night by a creature going by the name of Scyre (Introduced elsewhere on this profile). The shadow creature informed the boy of his destiny to be a protector of something called the Royal Cynail Brooch (Explained elsewhere on this profile). He was then trained constantly by Scyre, who attempted to also raise the boy with respect and dignity. instead, the idea of being a guardian to an important relic, as well as his natural tendency towards physical prowess and his ignorance to most human mannerisms thanks to not being raised by mortals, led him to be a self centered egotistical jerk, to put it bluntly. He learned that he could rid himself of Scyre temporarily by simply requesting the creature to leave him alone, though Scyre would still have to watch over and advise him. At times, even the great Manking needs advice, and will call on Scyre to grant it to him, though he will maintain the appearance that he worked so much to create, claiming that he simply wants to be reassured of information he does not have. He never calls on Scyre in public, but does treat his mentor with more respect than others, where he would usually use a demeaning term and forceful tone, he speaks quieter and uses Scyre's name. When the brooch's safety is threatened, Manking will always step up to the challenges laid before him by any adversary, but he will usually turn the other cheek when spoken ill of, as he is confident in his own self image.
