• Biography

  Claudia was just like the many others surviving out there in the daily world. She went to work, she came home and partied on the weekends. Her life was filled with joy and the love of her boyfriend Jamie. Yet good things never seem to last and at this point it was an eternity of bad. Everybody around her was getting sick. She watched them all die off as though they were paper burning in a fire place. But the only problem was that they got back up again. How could this be? She asked herself frequently. Jamie and Claudia locked themselves in their apartment. Boarding it up and only leaving at the same time to gather food and come back as quickly as possible.
  It worked out great for almost 4 months before the hoards in the city grew to thick. They were forced to leave or be eaten alive. They chose the latter. They drove from state to state getting by on little to nothing and learning the best ways to tie ropes and barricade compartments to sleep in at night.
  Jamie had gotten mad at Claudia which was fairly unusual for him. He was beginning to go mad from the lack of humans breathing and not trying to eat him alive for breakfast each day. The sounds of the groans was truly causing him to snap. He took it out verbally on Claudia to the point that she took off for about 3 hours. When Jamie realized all he had done he had gone after her, looking for her for the entire rest of the day. He couldn't find her and when she had just arrived home to see he was gone, she heard his blood curdling scream just outside the door. She was mid-sentence, reading his note he'd left. Claudia opened the door and shot the zombie right in the middle of its forehead. Brains exploded all over her and Jamie. He was bleeding too fast, her artery torn apart and spewing blood out of his throat. Claudia quickly pulled him inside and wrapped a towel around his throat. "Pressure, pressure." She kept screaming at him. Cradling him in her arms as he slowly died out. She kept whispering I love you, I'm sorry for leaving. Over and over she said this until the jolting stopped and he chest stopped moving. Claudia didn't know how long she sat there and cried, maybe the entire evening and close to morning because when she woke up with him still in her arms she knew what she had to do. He would turn like the rest of them and she would have to shoot him in the head as well. So Claudia pulled his stiff, dead body from the door way and strapped him to a chair. She packed up what she could salvage that meant anything, as well as Jamie's gun and her baseball bat from high school. She sat on the couch before him and waited for him to wake up.
  Claudia gripped his letter in her hand, reading it over and over as tears pooled in her eyes and down her cheeks. When he woke, she folded the letter and put it in her back pocket. Standing up right she extended her gun and shot him in the head. Blowing chunks onto the entertainment center behind him. His head dropped back down and she quickly left her makeshift home. This lead her to her current time, traveling among the dead. Surviving and finding nobody.
