For example, if he is at his office, where he keeps all medical records and patent profiles, he feels at home and is happy and content. He also shows an increase in intelligence and compassion for others in places where he feels at home.If Donovan is in a place such as a dark, claustrophobic alleyway, he becomes frightened and angry, often resulting in a violent situation where he is trying to get out as fast possible, doing whatever he needs to do to escape. In these situations, he momentarily loses parts of his intelligence and is more prone to becoming angry at others, maybe even becoming violent with even the best of friends.Background: Donovan comes from a semi-wealthy family that included his mother, two sisters and his brother. His father is currently in a hospital with severe mental health problems that seemingly struck from nowhere. His mother has become much more close to her children, now adults, and always inviting them to dinner or lunch to try to fill the void where her husband filled. Her children, especially Donovan, told her that she should see a counselor to deal with her problem, but she repeatedly refused and said she was perfectly fine with her four children.Donovan's two sisters, Olivia and Sabrina, are both assistants in a large office building a little ways from where Donovan works. His sisters are both seemingly always joyful and very optimistic about everything brought before them. He usually enjoys the company of the two of them, but sometimes their almost always exuberant mood made him annoyed at them. Olivia is 39 and Sabrina is 43.Donovan's brother, Marcus, is constantly running away from everything, including his wife and home, hoping to find The Ultimate Experience. So far running away has only got him a gunshot wound to the shoulder that was patched up by Donovan and losing about 400$. Marcus constantly shows a hopeless mood, always talking about the end of things how he hopes that Heaven is is final destination. Marcus is 35.Now for Donovan himself. He has kind of a mixed past, most of it turning out nicely for him, though. He is divorced from his first wife, Katie, for reasons he has trouble talking about to others, and prefers to keep it to himself. They were married for four years. Donovan then was nearly put in prison for supposedly murdering three children, ages kept a secret, during a home invasion. Two days before he was supposed to be sent to prison, the actual person who did the crime confessed as he couldn't take the stress of keeping his wrongdoings to himself. Donovan was let free and he returned back to his home. For several years everything continued normally and he enjoyed this lifestyle. His job as a doctor paid well, and the peace and silence at home was relaxing. His only problem was dealing with patients who where sick with a virus, and tried as hard as possible to receive people with wounds such as cuts or broken bones.Donovan's childhood is very important to him, and it was mainly between the ages of eight and twelve that he had the most enjoyable experience. That was the time when he discovered his love for treating wounds. He was inside with his two sisters while his mother,father and brother where out. Olivia was setting the dinner table to impress her mother when she returned when she fumbled with one of the knives and it fell down, scraping her leg as it dropped. Donovan reacted quickly, doing everything he needed to do to help her sister with the bleeding and pain. He slowed the bleeding with a rag and used some medical disinfectant to make sure the wound didn't get infected. When his mother returned, she was extremely proud of the young Donovan that she had him be the Chief Medical Expert of the house. He then always kept the medical supplies in check and was the one to bandage someones wound when they had one.
