• Race

  Lir is a dark word to Tril's kind. It roughly translates to: Liar, Dark, Shadow, Negative, Lifeless, Soulless. Due to the lack of understanding or a simple language barrier, it cannot be directly translated to just one word. This part of the name clarifies the subspecies of the Ganai, not the entirety of the race. There are several kinds of Ganai, though Tril is of the Lir'Ganai. Obviously a sub-species that earned this dark name in ages long past for their dark deeds. They have done the best they can to leave their dark history in the past, but the name given to them shall forever shame them, serving as a reminder and warning. The usual stereotype leads to mistrust and suspicion upon her kind. Even the most loyal are seen as possible turn-coats despite their best efforts. For this reason, Tril fears a break in vows or promises and does all that is within her power to keep her word and remain as loyal as she could. A somewhat self-destructive trait she follows blindly.
  
  
  Ganai Roughly translates to: Lizard, Reptile, Dragon. To most who are not of the Ganai, the name can easily just be translated to 'Lizardman' and be done with it. Though it has a whole list of meanings and interpretations, the Ganai are a colorful and diverse race of many varieties one race can branch into. With cousins all over, they are adaptable and cunning, powerful and sturdy despite their average, willowy build. Scale color, patterns, and other physical attributes can easily be categorized by their sub-race.

• Description - Simple, for now

  Frills stretch from crown of head down along the neck neck though often folded and relaxed until threatened. Bright yellow, serpentine eyes are nothing special, though their stare is harsh and constant. Her body is gifted with curves that would make a goddess envious, were that goddess a willowy lizard. Her body is toned with dense muscle, aptly cut to show the strength each lanky limb held within. Her scales are as a clear night. Black scales shine darkly as speckles of a bright yellow glisten pleasantly like stars in a night sky. The top of her muzzle, along with her back, tail, and the outer sides of her arms and legs are all striped with these golden scales. A dark shade of gray scales pleasantly decorates her from chest to groin. Her hands end in claws as do her reptilian feet, and her tail is decorated with soft, thin spines that vanish towards the tip.

• Scars of battles past

  - Keep in mind that her scales are black and a bright yellow or gold. Any scars show up discolored, ruined, etc
  
  Head scars - The right side of her muzzle is marked with a deep vertical scar that left the corner of her lip 'chipped' to expose only the slightest hint of sharpened lizard teeth.
  
  Left shoulder and bicep - Her shield arm is strong, and she rarely loses her grip on that shield. But on rare occasions, she does. And she pays for it. Proof of this lies in her shield-bearing arm, and shoulder. Her shoulder shows a thick scar which begins along the outer curve and trails down into the bicep, leaving a rather nasty looking scar and giving one an impression of a very memorable wound.
  
  Wrists and Forearms, Ankles, and Neck - Shackles leave their mark if in place for the span of years. These have left their mark in the forms of scars where strain against them were placed. No complete circles are made, but it is obvious none the less. Signs where clamped shackles pinched and broke flesh and scale are visible. Upon forearms are slash and claw marks from battles where prisoners and slaves alike skirmished over what scraps of food they could get.
  
  Upper and lower back - Save for a single good scar left by an arrow's kiss, her back is rather clean.
  
  Front and Thighs - Though her kind have tough belly scales, and tend to leave gaps in armor for flexibility, there is something to be taken by the horizontal scar running across her belly. It is a shallow and thin scar that runs from her left side and ends abruptly at where a belly button might be were she not a lizard. At her right thigh, on the inside of it only inches from her groin is another deep scar. It is as if a sword was thrust to slice into the inner thighs and only managing to catch her right one. The scar is noticeable only by the discoloration in the scales than an actual disfigurement of the flesh beneath - obviously treated by magic.
