• Description

  Isobel is rather underweight for a girl her age, and is usually taken for a girl younger than she really is. Her jet black wings are 12 feet across but she usually keeps them hidden. She keeps a bandage wrapped around her blind eyes. She usually wears a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with holes in the back for her wings. If she wants to hide them, she'll wear a windbreaker over it. When she's flying she'll lightly cluck with her tongue, using this as echo location.

• What She Remembers

  Her earliest memories are when she is in a lab, doctors poking and prodding her. The cold steel of the table beneath her and the clamps on her wrists, ankles and wings. Taking blood samples, performing tests, hurting her... She can't remember anything before this, or if she might have been there her entire life. When she was 11 they tried a test on her eyes, which failed and made her blind. She finally escaped when an explosion in another part of the lab caused a fire.
  
  Isobel doesn't really talk about her past with other people. Besides the fact that she can't remember much of it, she really prefers to absorb the memory of people that she's met and keep it to herself. She doesn't own much, so memories are one of the few things that she can keep and are really hers. She almost regards these as a type of secret, one that she'd rather keep to herself than share with other people. While others collect rocks or stamps, she collects memories of the people she's met.

• Every time I hear this song it makes me think of Isobel, even though she doesn't have a romantic interest, there isn't a whole lot she wouldn't do for those she loves.
