Personality:
Aishe rather reserved, she is more of the type to have acquaintances rather then friends. But that doesn't mean that she isn't friendly. She's always willing to give a smile and a helping hand where she sees that it is needed. Though she's not a push over either. She tends to call things how she sees them and is the type to stick up for the underdog. Once wronged, she's not the type to easily forgive and when her good opinion of you is lost, it is usually lost forever. She's rather focused and driven when it comes to her dreams, but she still enjoys finding time to sit back and relax. Curling up with a good book and a warm cup of tea is her favorite past time.
Background:
Aishe spent most of her life being raised by her grandmother after the death of her mother when she was five. Her parents had separated several years before and her father's new wife did not care for children much. Ever sense she was young, Aishe had the ability to see things that others couldn't. Figures that seemed to float through the room. Sometimes they knew she was there and even talked to her and other times they didn't. Seeing a young child talk to nothing, most assumed that she just had many imaginary friends.
It wasn't until she got older that Aishe realized what it was that she was really seeing. They where ghosts, the spirits of people that had passed and that, for some reason or another, had yet to pass on. And as Aishe got passed the age of imaginary friends, people started to look at her differently. Instead of seeing her behavior as that of an imaginative child, they started to see her as a girl with sort of issue that needed to be corrected. So Aishe started hiding her ability, ignoring the ghosts when she saw them and acted like nothing was wrong when she came across them.
Now though, Aishe was in college. Majoring in English and working part time for an old man named Alfred Pembroke. Pembroke owned an old antique book store several books from campus. The place was musty and quiet and hardly saw any customers at the best of times. But that suited Aishe fine, for that left her with plenty of time to work on her school work when she wasn't busy shelving and cleaning. And of course helping herself to reading the vast amounts of books, some even dated back to the late 1600's. Aishe loved losing her self in the yellowed pages.
Little did Aishe now that her strange ability was far stronger then she knew. For Aishe sight wasn't just limited to ghosts. Aishe could also see supernatural beings for what they were. Vampires and werewolves would held different and very distinctive auras from each other, and from normal humans, and she could see through the illusions of fae, angel, and demons to see them for what they really were. But Aishe had yet to see these beings, still believing them to be nothing but myths and legends. She would soon be in for a shocking surprise.
