• Description

  As you walk across the palace courtyard you spot a young elf, 17 by looks of it. Messy ash blonde hair fought back into a ponytail, matched with a fair skinned complection. His long pointed ears, which were littered with peircings, twitching slightly as you drew nearer. His garb consisting of a dusty rose tunic slung oversome chainmail, trousers slightly worn as his leather boots, gloves, and gauntlets weathered. Which was odd untill you noted the sword hanging at his side. So he was a knight, one would assume. But what worried you the most was the mischevious glint from his violette eyes and smirk he gave you as as you hurried off. Maybe you shouldn't stare.

• Biography

  Aernis born to the Mitore family, had a rather rough upbrining. His family barely able to put food on the table if any at all. And for that reason, he was quick to work. Wanting to support his family Aernis took a job at age 8, running messages to and from the people Bealyth no matter the condition or dilema provided. Yet by nine his goals would alter completely. Quick to get home before sundown due to the increasing amounts of raids, easpecially on the outskirts and farmlands, he left work early. But instead of what he hoped to greet him, Aernis had found was lost to him forever. His home ablaze, clear signs of a struggle as blood was strewn across the propety. Yet no bodies. His family must have survived right? Wrong, for among the signs of struggle were signs of necromancy. There bodies to never recieve a proper burial, as their souls forced to wander. At first he was bitter and held hatred, but that would be foolish to hold on to. Come that fall, after living on the streets, Aernis left to the barracks to train. He would not be bitter, he would be happy. He would not use anger or hatred to fuel his power, but courage. That day he pledged he would live in the moment and not the past. And as if to add fuel to the fire he, in order to prevent these massacres, would work hard and become a knight. He would one day defend the kingdom of Baelyth. And he did. After joining the army, between training sessions and tasks, he found himself at the palace quite often. Never failing to be amused by the rush everyone was in. It was as if some one had lit a fire underneath them. And in proper cermony, the knaves, who where considered to be the top of the class at the time, were presented infront of the royal family. And for him, it was a rather interesting to say the least experience. Best to say, the Royals were a tough crowd. Especially when it came to pleasing the princess. For when he first encountered her, she was rather, to say the least in his mind, spoiled. For she got what she wanted, and for him, that ment he was almost passed by when it came to selecting who continued there training. But when the princess was abducted, he wished nothing more than to help her. After all it was his duty as a knight in training to protect the people of the kingdom and in this case the knights had failed. Upon the return of the princess he was quite shocked to see the changes in not only her appearence but attitude. Aernis almost swearing that she had been swapped with another being at first but after hearing the story felt guilty at such an accusation. Making and effort, by pranking castle servants or other methods, to get her to smile when he saw her, or passed by. Despite the status of a mere aquaintance. Now a days, Aernis is usually found lounging about in the cortyard unless his duties take him elsewhere. And though he may not seem the part, one good look and you can tell he is an experienced knight.
