• Description

  Tall, Dark and Handsome may have been one way he was described before life took its toll on him. He now stands massive, tattooed and scarred, with a cold calculating look on his face. His dark eyes, somewhat beady, stare deeply into things, and he rarely speaks. He tries not to allow his emotions to be seen, giving him the appearance of someone with no feelings and a "cold heart" But if anyone seen him with his wife, they would know otherwise, for he is gentle, tender and loving.

  The Ballad of the Weary Warrior
  
  He was not physically old, however a lifetime of hardship and death had taken a severe toll on his mind. He did not care for death, bloodshed and war, however he seemed to never be able to flee it. Wherever he traveled, there was always hate and death, rarely was it directed at him; but he would be a weak man if he did not try to help those he could. For many years, he traveled the world, seeking his place in the world, seeking a purpose. He often did mercenary work to keep his belly full, and keep himself moving, he had no care about what the fight was for, so long as it wasn't unnecessarily brutal. But yet it was one of those situations that finally ended his journey. Working as a mercenary for a lord in Freemarch, him and a small squadron of mercenaries struck deep into the woods to clear out a band of rouges that had pillaging the civilians in local villages. The trip had gone well, the scouts for the camp had been dispatched quietly, no alarms were tripped, as the group of hardened warriors approached, they could hear laughing and general merry making. But not just men, women and children as well, they were all Kelari. He did not really care for Kelari, because they were racist against his people, and a job was a job. He turned to the group and issued a command. Women and children were not to be hurt unless they were absolutely necessary to save your life or a squad mates life. His men nodded and they broke out of the treeline and caught the men off guard, a slaughter ensued, they were not well trained for starters, and they were caught of guard. His men did not stop, the noble had issued a command, kill all bandits, Caramonn's order would invalidate their pay. Women and children alike were butchered, Caramonn fought for them, killing several of his own men, until there was just one woman left, he shielded her with his own body, rage shaking him. How could they do this! He yelled for them to go, leave, take his share, in exchange for her life. A couple of them were clearly bothered by what had happened as well and wanted to go, but two of them, Borrick and Regos, shook their head no. Caramonn had killed some of their friends trying to stop the fight, and for that he had earned this. They both took their bows out and shot him repeatedly in the chest, and he took the shots to save the girl. The men left, leaving the girl to be haunted by the sacrifice Caramonn had made for her. He laid their bleeding and dying knowing that what he had done was right. He smiled to her, and whispered with all his strength, " Its going to be ok," then he died. Or so he thought, as it turns out, the girl he had saved was a healer, a cleric of sorts, and she healed him. Both with magic and herbs found in the forest. It was several days later when he awoke, he was in a small cave, wrapped in furs with bandages over his nude chest. There was a small campfire, his belongings were stacked up to the side. From what he could tell he was alone, he raised himself up and checked the bandages, the wounds were healed! Nothing more then scars now. What had happened, as he thought that to himself, she walked into the cave with some firewood, seeing that he was awake a large smile spread across her face.
  " Im so glad your awake!" She was so full of life, that he could not help but to smile.
  " I guess i have you to thank for that," he spoke, but it came out raspy and thick, his throat was sore. " Where are we...My manners. I am Caramonn, of the Bahmi."
  She stacked the wood up neatly by the fire, " You have yourself to thank for that, you didn't have to save me. But i am glad you did, I am Seako, the Rift Watcher and i am forever in your debt Caramonn." He smiled, he knew he had found his purpose in life. It was her, he would keep her safe forever. Unfortunately for him they both were killed when Regulos invaded Telara, whether it was their bond, fate or just dumb luck, they were both ascended as heroes of the Defiants. To this day they still fight together, him quietly guarding his wife, and her, always a smile on her face, as she heals and keeps her loved one alive.
