  Personality: A pacifist at heart and a very non-confrontational person, Kuva was a Reploid of soft words even before he lost the ability to speak. He literally does not have it in him to be malicious, and the only time he may fight back is if his *defense program is triggered. Kindhearted and generous, he stands by an open door policy for his church which states that anyone (so long as they bear no ill intent) is welcome to shelter under his roof.
  
  Alliance: Maverick (kind of)
  
  Appearance: Small (he barely tops 4'9") and lithe, Kuva's armor is thin and light, and patterned after simple, generic vestments (the most recognizable being the black and white clerical collar). He wears an additional cloak with a wide hood and scarf to hide his face, and holds his cloak with a pendant of the Cross of St. Peter. Being a relic of his former superior, the pendant is battered and worn, but Kuva wears it with pride.
  
  Beneath the hood Kuva has white hair and violet eyes, with pale skin and a childish face. Designed to appear innocent and child-friendly, Kuva doesn't look like a threat, and this has resulted in past Mavericks trying to pick a fight and activating his defense program.
  
  Weapon(s): Energy protrusions generated during the activation of a self-defense program. These protrusions will break it hit hard enough, and are a massive drain on Kuva's overall energy. The claws on the arms can be retracted or extended past the fingertips.
  
  Element: Energy
  
  History: Named after a bygone patron saint of children, Kuva was created as pen of several unique Reploids commissioned by a religious organization. He was 'stationed' at a large church in Able City, and most of his duties involved caring for the humans and Reploids that came to the church for guidance and sanctuary. He was responsible for a wing in the church where youths of both races - be they runaways, orphans, or just those down on their luck - could stay to get back on their feet.
  
  Every Reploid of Kuva's design was purposefully built small and sans most weapons capabilities. However, in order for them to be able to protect their 'base' locations and the people they served, each model was designed with an *automatic defense program. This program activates when the Reploids or their charges (in Kuva's case, the children he cared for) were in imminent danger, and the program would automatically terminate itself when the threat had ceased.
  
  At most, the program is set to terminate itself after a maximum time of one hour. While the program is active, the Reploid's prime directive is to protect their charges and get them to safety. However, political bigwigs eventually decided that this program was too dangerous to keep mass-producing, and halted the line after only one batch. Most of the Reploids from this batch were killed in the Able City missile crisis, as they refused to leave their posts, and thus were killed.
  
  The missile strike did not exempt Kuva's church from disaster, and a good number of the congregation members who survived packed up and left for the more intact sectors of the city. Unwilling to leave behind those who had chosen to stay (and those who had no choice), Kuva remained, and continued his duties alongside a few brave volunteers. His defense program was triggered when he became infected with the Maverick Virus sometime later, and the program and the virus fought each other to a stalemate.
  
  Kuva retained his sanity, but with the program still active, he didn't have access to several non-vital systems, including speech and sleep; the program also kept his *energy protrusions active at all times (though he could shorten the claws to be able to use his hands). He has been living in the ruins of his old church ever since, and is still acting out his prime directive; to protect those who seek safety with him and to bring them to safety.
  
  Unfortunately, Kuva also realizes he has the Maverick Virus, and he is terrified of going anywhere near Maverick Hunters - not because he's afraid of being killed, but because he rationalizes that he can't protect his charges if he's dead. Kuva himself never goes further than two miles from his church when escorting most of his charges, but if the charge is a child or someone injured, he will venture further. Most of his work getting his charges to safety has to be done through anonymous tips, in order to keep his own Maverick status hidden.
  
  Other: *Part of the self-defense program includes the creation of six energy protrusions from rotating ports on the back, four energy claws from similar ports on the arms, and a holographic visor and headpiece. Because Kuva's defense program has been running nonstop for so long (due to a glitch caused by contracting the Maverick Virus), it causes a massive drain of energy on his systems. Because another glitch prevents Kuva from rebuilding energy by sleeping, he has to get all of his energy from outside sources, and to conserve energy, he often sits motionless for hours on end.
