• Biography

  Gabriel was born and raised in New York, starting his life in the lower end of the Bronx; slightly more well-to-do than the typical resident of the area, he was constantly accosted for being who he was. His parents were both extremely hard workers, working sixty hours a week each in order to make ends meet, and save for their son's education. And he got it. During his young adult life, he was in and out of trouble, mainly for fighting - not due to any real affinity for it, but merely out of necessity to defend himself.
  
  He graduated high school with a high grade-point average, moving on to college to pursue a career in architecture and engineering, with a minor in psychology. He excelled in all fields, finding them interesting and valuable in the world today. A happy, sociable individual, Gabriel had many friends, most who respected him for being the clean-cut, well-rounded individual he had strived to be, and as such, it didn't take him long to meat the woman of his dreams.
  
  Him and Annabelle-Lee were married on August the nineth, and conceived a child shortly thereafter. A year later, their daughter was born. Gabriel rarely had time for his family, what with his constant working inherited from his parents, but he loved them dearly.
  
  Then, the prophetic apocalypse struck. Gabriel was a strong-willed man, able-bodied and capable, and had very little problems surviving... his wife and daughter, however, were not; they had been accustomed to staying at home and living in luxury, and when all the mutations took place, they were among some of the first humans affected, mutating rapidly.
  
  Gabriel came home from a project late one night, performing his usual ritual of grabbing a glass of milk and the paper, before heading for the stairs to check on his wife and daughter. Immediately, he knew something was wrong; blood stained the walls and floor, drag-marks leading from the top of the stairs to the back room. Frantically, he dashed for the end of the trail, praying against all the powers that everything was alright.
  
  He found the two, mutated and grotesque, feasting on the neighbor who had presumably come over to check on the pair. They set on Gabriel, and his natural survival instinct kicked in; using whatever was necessary, he killed the two most important people in his life.
  
  His world shattered, and all that was left for him, was survival; after disposing of the bodies, he used his engineering prowess to construct a base of operations in his own home, keeping a strict regiment of scavenging and maintenance. It was all he knew now, continuing this until the present day.
