  • Name: Erindin II
  • Gender: Male

  • Race: Men
  • Name Meaning: Young Erindín II is named after his grandfather, Erindín I, who was also an Ithilien Ranger. The word erin is Sindarin for "forest," and the word dín means "silent." So, "silent forest."
  • Age: 26 (adjustable)
  • Birthplace: Minas Tirith
  • Relationship status: Single
  • Orientation: Straight (although, he has been known to get a bit too touchy-feely with his fellow Rangers after a few too many mugs of ale. He will deny this, blushing and stammering.)
  • Height: 6'4
  • Hair: Tawny, falls to just above his shoulders in untidy waves.
  • Eyes: Dark brown
  • Clothing: The usual Ranger garb, with brown leathers and soft green cloth.
  • Weapons: A one-handed sword, a longbow, and a dagger.
  • Things he's good at: Stealth. Archery. Hand to hand combat. Tree climbing. Swimming. Sewing (his fellow Rangers often coerce him into repairing their torn clothing.) Keeping his mouth shut.
  • Things he's not so good at: Cooking (he's a horrendous cook.) Telling jokes. Wooing (his handsome face may draw them in, but his flirting often drives them off for some reason, so he refrains from it.)
  • Likes: Good food. Good tales. Relaxing around a campfire. Listening to Bowen's stories. Lazing about in common rooms at various inns in Gondor. The forests he patrols in Ithilien. Visiting his mother. Being around his uncle, his friends, and Bowen.
  • Dislikes: Haradrim. Orcs. Failing. Gloomy weather. Being too far away from Ithilien. Being flustered around women. Being around snooty city people.
  • Mannerisms: In his youth he was a nervous around strangers, and uneasy in lands that were not Ithilien or Minas Tirith. But as he grew older, he also grew calmer. He is very much at ease in forests and on the road, as well as in taverns and cheap inns. He is comfortable around strangers, but still on watchful and ready to spring into action. He walks with a relaxed posture when off duty, and can easily relax in every setting, save for richer estates where perfect manners are expected.
