Enzio Verdazi

Synopsis

• At a glance...

  Coming from a prestigious mage family, the Verdazis, Enzio is a lucky fellow. The Verdazi are known not only for their powerful magical bloodlines, but are also known to be both tall and beautiful. Even with his great lineage, he is not without misfortune; Enzio is not first mage-born in his family and will not inherit the wealth or estates of the family.
  
  Enzio was educated at the Tower of the Magi, west of the capital, Malgrave from a young age. There, he was trained in not only magic, but other scholarly pursuits, such as herbalism and chirurgia (surgery). While excelling at the non-magical courses, he was often marked at the lower end of his classes for practical magic.
  
  Enzio's magical talents are very specific. His talent lies predominantly in listing, or sensing magic within a large area. He also took well to enchanting, and often performs well at the Autumna gathering, recharging enchanted items and artifacts. In other magicks, Enzio is often found wanting, however his ability gave him the opportunity to work for the Academy at the Tower of the Magi as a Villister, or village Lister.
  
  Villisters are often the target of the undead due to their uncanny ability to sense their presence. For this reason, they often travel in secret or in disguise. Enzio's appearance, unfortunately, is very distinctive. Not only does he bare the height and looks of his family, his wings easily identify him as having a magical lineage. Instead of traveling in secret, he has taken to travelling in groups and meeting in public spaces whenever possible, to avoid attacks.
