The Basics

    Opal Took is the child of a dwarf and a Hobbit, and fits best in a Lord of the Rings setting.

    Outside of a LotR setting, her father is still a dwarf, but her mother is a Halfling.

    If you have a setting that doesn't include dwarves and Halflings, her parents were both humans, but both short, so she'll still end up being a short woman, about 5'2.
