• Biography

  Alejandro, or Dro as his friends called him, was born and raised in the quiet, wealthy, area of Belgravia, London. Their home was surrounded by quite a few muggles so it was magically hidden from there eyes -- much like that of the Black house and The Leakey Cauldron.
  His father, Sowande Abimbola, was born in Africa to middle class parents that were killed in an accident when he was still young. He was taken in by a Wealthy muggle family and raised in London not knowing anything about the wizarding world-- besides a few unexplainable mishaps involving the family cat that he didn't much care for. Then one day, to the shock of both him and his muggle adoptive family, he received a letter from Hogwarts. They were in disbelief and assumed it was just a prank-- until a teacher from the strange school came to explain it to them. Both of Sowande's parents were Pure-Blood wizards that attended and graduated from the school.
  So, with that, Sowande was introduced into the wizarding world. He met his future wife, Ximena Jimenez of Hufflepuff, in his 4th year Divinations class. They were paired together to read each others tealeaves, however he was to busy looking into her gorgeous grey eyes to notice there was even a cup. They were inseparable ever since that class. She was a Panamanian native with pure blood parents who traveled and moved a lot, so she saw a lot of the world. When they graduated from Hogwarts, Sowande went to work for the Ministry of Magic and Ximena became a Healer. They soon had Alejandro, their first and only child.
  He was rather tall for his age every since he was a toddler. He had his father's dark, smooth and almost flawless complexion; but his mothers jet-black and silky hair, and her stunning grey eyes. As he grew, the height difference between him and other children grew with him. At the age of twelve he was taller than his petite mother who was 5’2.
  He was always told how handsome he was, but he never let it go to his head. He was, however, very conscious of his appearance; not because he wanted to be the best looking, but because he didn't want to shame his parents who always wore very neat and tidy clothes to work.
  Although Alejandro grew up very wealthy, he didn't get to see his parents much because they were always busy. He was raised mostly by his nanny, a Squib-- Ms. Elenora Wynston. She had been in charge of young Dro since he was born. She cared for him like he was her own, since she had no children of her own.
  Dro loved his Nanny very much, and sometimes he felt like he cared for her more than his parents; but deep down he always wanted to make them proud, so that they would give him some type of praise or attention.
  His first show of magical ability was when he was small. He'd always enjoyed watching the muggles and their pets walking up and down the streets outside his windows. He would always think about things that could make them funnier.
  　　　One day while watching a Muggle family walking along the street together-- mother, father, and child. He became quite jealous. He had never been able to walk along the street with his parents. It didn't seem fair to him. While mulling over this fact, 7 year old Dro saw the hats of the family flip off their heads. His eyes widened and he left the window in a little bit of shock. He hadn't done magic before, but he'd seen his parents do it on occasion.
  　　　That night he stayed up late, to the protests of Ms. Wynston, until his parents returned home. His father was the first to arrive, and in his excitement, Dro rushed to tell his father the story. When he was done, he looked up at his dad expecting to see pride or some type of joy; but he saw the opposite. All his dad did in response was shake his head and scold his son. He told him he needed to be in control of his abilities, not get excited about accidentally bothering some poor muggles.
  After that, Dro was determined to control his magic. He couldn't wait until he was old enough to attend Hogwarts and start mastering his magic. When he finally received his letter he was overjoyed. His excitement couldn't be dimmed even when his father told him he wouldn't be able to take him to retrieve his things. He happily went with Ms. Wynston. He couldn't wait to get his wand but was saving that for last.
  First stop was the uniform store. He got 2 new cloaks; one black and one grey. He'd also purchase two sets of uniforms in matching colors. As he tried the uniform on, all he could think about was wanting to get into Gryffindor. After that, he got his trunk. 'nothing to brag about', he thought; just a regular dragon-skinned trunk. After that he got his books, all of which he was excited to read when he got home. His pet came next. They had a family owl but his parents told him he could get his own. He got a small owl because the others looked to big for him to care for.
  Finally, it was time to head to the wand shop. He went in alone while Ms Wynston waited with his new pet and school uniform outside. He walked in, very nervous, and his eyes widened at the walls full of wand boxes. The shop owner came out with a friendly grin on his face and didn't even bother asking what he was in the shop for. He began pulling boxes out making comments every so often like "You're tall for your age," and "Quite difficult,". After about 15 or so wands the shop owner goes back, muttering again under his breath something Dro couldn't hear, and returned with a dusty box. "I think this should be perfect," he says.
  The box was pale but seemed dark in comparison to the almost white color of the wand inside. It had a spiral design etched in to its sides. It was by far the most handsome wand he'd seen in the shop so far. "It is made from Willow wood," the shop owner says, "Not many of that kind here. It has a phoenix core-- which makes it even more rare; possibly the only one of its kind in the shop." he adds. Dro hesitates a second before reaching inside the box and slowly wrapping his fingers around the wand. Instantly he felt a zap of electricity shoot up his fingers and in to his arm. It felt different from all the other wands; it felt right. He looked up at the wand owner who clapped his hands in approval and proclaims loudly "Willow wood with Phoenix feather Core, Eleven and a half inches, Hard," as he retrieves the wand from Dro's hand and places it back in the box, bringing it to the counter to ring it up.
  Dro's First year at Hogwarts was normal. He made great marks, made a few friends, and he made it in the house he wanted to be in.. He tried his hardest in his classes and was always in the books. He didn't get in any trouble and tried to avoid any fights. Everyone seemed to like him well enough, apart from being told very often how tall he was for a first year.
  　　His first few years away to Hogwarts he grew to love a few classes more than others. Charms class was his favorite, at the top of the list. Next, and a very close second, was transfigurations. He also liked Defense Against the Dark Arts. Potions was one of his least favorites-- he just wasn't made to cook things!
  In his spare time, while in the castle, he enjoyed hanging out in the common room with his friends playing wizard chess. He wasn't very good at the game but it was still fun to try. Another hobby of his was eating. You wouldn't guess it by his size but he found ways to get food from the house elves as well as have his house staff to send him cakes and stuff from home. At any given time in his trunk you might find a few half eaten cakes, several boxes of chocolate frogs, and a few bags of every flavor beans-- and that would be on a bad day!
  He and his friends liked traveling around the castle after classes and exploring. He could of sworn once in his 4th year that they had found some hidden office. It had a bunch of strange tools in it, but when he came back to explore it more he couldn't find it. He was the one in his group of friends that ended up helping everyone with here homework that they waited last minute to complete.
  He tended to be more of a reserved student during classes. While he might know the answers to most of the questions he rarely volunteered. He didn't want to sound like a know it all. His professors however had to know this because his homework was always done very well and he always received high marks. He could often be found reading and studying, even if it was while he and his friends were hanging out outside or in some empty classroom.
  At the end of his third year he received a letter a before the end of term from his father. It was written in a very business like manner. When he opened it and read it at first he thought he had mis read. The words "accident" and "Mrs. Wynston" seemed to jump off the sheet of parchment at him. That year when he returned home it was not to the comforting scents of the meals Ms. Wynston used to make. but to the empty home of parents to busy to greet their son after his return from school.
  That summer, without the constant attention of his caregiver, and absent parents, Dro began to rebel. He started going out and hanging with some strange muggle kids. Goths they called themselves. His parents tried to get more involved in his life then, but it was to late. One night Dro came home one night with holes in his ears to his parents disbelief. They weren't even regular holes but large ones that you could look through. They tried to get him to remove them but he refused. He closed himself up in his room during the day. He would keep up with his school studies during the day, and at night he would leave to hang with the muggles.
  When he returned back to school the following year he knew he would need to remove the new jewelery he had acquired. He took out the jewelery. and allowed his mother to close the holes completely so he wouldn't get sent home. He thought it was well worth it since he had managed to stretch them to a full inch and a half. That was way more than his muggle friends had done.
