  Aside of knowing how to use weapons of old such as swords,maces,axes,bows,and all the rest with extreme efficiency Samen has also come to embrace his Voidsoul powers and the magics that is allowed him to tap into. Unlike other schools of magic these are things that he cannot teach anyone including other Voidsouls as each magic is specific to the user.
  
  Siphon Soul- Samen can draw on the power of other peoples souls to strengthen his own prowess in battle. It acts in a similar way to leeching life from someone where it will heal his wounds,but unlike a leech life spell he is drawing on the force that drives a person onward and because of this he gains a measure of strength from it. Samen can only draw on someones soul for a few seconds and only once per person per day but it gives a steroid effect that makes him twice as fast,strong,and quick for exactly two minutes. (four posts is usually the length of the effect on him unless you discuss it with me ahead of time to either lengthen or shorten it.)
  
  Negation Sphere- Being a void soul allows him to call on the negation of power, and this ability allows him to fire a sphere of what appears to be dark matter that will do a small amount of damage to the target but more importantly it silences them from casting spells for up to a minute. (Two posts of being unable to cast a spell unless we discuss it being longer or shorter before the fight starts.)
  
  Void Shield- With a wave of his arm Samen can create a shield of purple void energy that blocks incoming projectiles from striking him. The shield can withstand a decent deal of force up to a rocket slamming into it before it dissipates and cant be used again for two minutes. (Four posts before it can be used again unless discussed before the fight occurs.)

• Biography

  Samen was born into the royal family of a Genasi clan which are a race of mortals who have been touched by elemental's.His clan was renown for both their mastery of weapons as well as magic. His mother was a water genasi while father was an air genasi, and the mixture ended up creating a frost genasi in the form of Samen. Raised by loving parents he was given the world along with all the love a child could ever want, but this did not last long as when he was three Samen fell ill and the healers within the clan could do nothing to help him. Weak to the point of being unable to walk the worst was soon to come for the child, but as he lay dying Samen's father made a pact with a creature of the Abyss who claimed he would save Samen so long as the creature could have ten years of his life. Samen's father was quick to agree and within three days the boy was the picture of perfect health.Everyone within the clan rejoiced and called the act a miracle,but Samen's father knew the truth of things and kept the secret to himself.
  
  Samen blossomed into a powerful warrior over the years, and as was custom he trained in the school of druid magics but was no as apt in that department. While his skill's with physical combat and field tactics were on a level not seen in many...his skill with the druid magics was clumsy and no spell ever seemed to work out like it was supposed to. One day while practicing transforming into a raven the spell went sideways and large raven wings sprouted from his back which he could not get to go away. His teachers gathered together in an attempt to reverse the spell but there was nothing they could do as transformation magic was something the user had to reverse for themselves, and while Samen did want to get rid of the wings he feared the spell would go wrong and he would end up growing other appendages he didn't want. So he simply decided that he would keep the wings until he found himself more trained in the druid arts.
  
  In his eighteenth year a war broke out among three of the Genasi clans including his own, and after talking to his parents Samen got their blessing to join the troops on the battlefield. However it was not to be as just days before the battle the creature of the Abyss who had made the deal with Samen's father appeared to claim the ten years he had been promised. Samen's father offered the creature everything under the sun to try and get the creature to leave without Samen, but the creature would hear none of it and with a snap of its fingers it claimed the young man and vanished. Samen would not find out for years to come that his clan lost the war as the other two clans turned on them together and slaughtered his people and family making him the last of his clan.
  
  Trapped in the Abyss Samen was given only the information that he was the property of the creature known as Itzil through a deal his father had brokered, and that he would be a pit fighter for the next ten years should he live that long. The first year of his fighting career was extremely trying on the young man as he slaughtered countless other races in the ring, and while some were able to defend themselves others were simply innocent creatures caught in deals with the Abyss denizens that landed them in the ring. As time marched on Samen found himself more comfortable in the role of the pit fighter and managed to become one of five champions in the ring. A crowd favorite for his brutal killing style he quickly found himself undergoing changes that he could not explain. His green eyes began to turn red and glow while his ivory skin started to darken in places and take on a more shadow like hue to it.This went on for years, and the more he fought the more the change took hold of him and on the ninth year of his imprisonment everything came to a head. The lords of the Abyss decided to hold a battle royal pitting its five champions against one another, but as an added bonus each one was given a piece of magical armor that belonged to a set. The armor when completed would let the wearer enter and exit the abyss at will, and so the winner of the tournament would walk free from the pit.
  
  Samen was given a black cloak as his piece and was pushed out into the pit to face off against the other four. The fight was expected to last for days, but as he was being taken out into the pit Itzil has come to Samen and told him that his clan had been wiped out of existence so winning would do nothing for him. Itzil had hoped that bit of news would crush Samen and cause him to simply throw the cloak at the other four and exit the arena, but that bit of news gave the man the fury needed to push him over the edge and as he stood in that pit and the fighters were announced his transformation completed itself. A Genasi who is corrupted by the Abyss will become a twisted version of its race, and in front of the denizens of the abyss Samen screamed out and the ground itself shook under him.His eyes glowed brightly as his skin was turned to a completely shadowed hue as he made the transition from frost genasi to a voidsoul genasi. The stunned crowd watched as Samen proceeded to rip through the other four champions in the matter of minutes and collect their armor pieces for his own. As he dawned the final piece he turned to face Itzil who watched from the crowd "I will be back for you..." were the parting words offered up before Samen vanished to rejoin the mortal world.
  
  With no clan to return to Samen has wandered the worl searching for a place where he might fit in or at least not be stared at like some kind of demonic monster. He wears the armor from his pit victory as a reminder of where he came from and the things he was forced to do to earn his freedom. He does what he can to atone for the atrocities he committed by helping those around him. At times however he has vivid flashbacks where he believes he is still in the pit fighting against some sort of monster or warrior out to kill him.
