  Additional info: When Ana Fehler, Alastair’s mother, made the mistake of dealing with a band of imps for money, she underestimated the little devils and completely blew of her end of the bargain. Outraged, the cheated imps stormed the Fehler household and took hold of the three triplets as hostage in an attempt to receive what they had been promised. Desperate for the safety of her children, Ana was given three days to complete the deal. She struggled and fought, but in the end, she wasn’t able o make it by the deadline. As punishment, the imps cursed Zandy, Peter, and Alastair and turned each into something completely unrecognizable. Horrified by what she had caused, Ana ended her own life that night, unable to face her husband or children. Their father quickly left the scene, not wanting anything more to do with the mutated children.
