• A History

  In a Drow City of Aleandar, a baby drow named Jak was born to two pureblood Moriche elves. He marked the everlasting relationship between two clans: The Despurden clan (Victors of the Darkness and The Helvirahel clan (Those above the Gods). However his father, Jusparo, had never touched the adventuring side of his life for he was destined to marry and lead so he had left young Jak, his brother, and sister while his wife took advantage of the matriarchal system of the drow city and became Head Clan Master of both of their clans. His brother learned the ways of the Ranger while his sister trained to what would bring her to be a ruthless assassin. His quiet life with his argonian playmate would eventually turn for the worse.
  
  At the age of 5, his town was attacked by slavers and raiders from the Eastern Slaver nations. The City of Aleandar burned to the ground as the slavers took his brother, sister, and finally himself while most of his clans kin were killed or experienced a fate worse than death. He boarded a slave ship and took passage in a deadly three month voyage towards the slaver nations where he would meet many a slave. At the Capital of Slaves, he was bought and traded from time to time and at the age of 8, was brought to the Kingdom of the Eastern Metal to be sold once more. No one had even had a thought of paying for the boy as his history of deadly disobedience grew, however if he was not bought he would be hung on the account of being a slave. A man, a half-giant, had spoken out in the crowd and paid his price. The man introduced himself as Humbart and immediately set the boy free then turning him over to the Kingdom's Queen. He had spent a few months of peace until he had asked to be set free with Humbart. His wishes were allowed and he would spent most of his childhood and teen hood training for war.
  
  Instead of training for any school of magic, he spent most of his time learning about different types of weapons and their different uses in them. He excelled in the blade, axes, and bow while having a penchant for throwing weapons and unconventional warfare. He became a mercenary like Humbart and joined up with a guild to fight for so. He joined some wars to participate in clandestine battles too harsh for open conflict. However, during one battle, he and Humbart was captured by the opposing forces of Eidolonis. The Eidolonis forces brought him as a prisoner of war while Humbart was sentenced to high treason and was sent to the penal colonies of Kyoukori. He was tattooed, clasped, and sent to work day and night in the fields and the mines. A fellow drow influenced an uprising and, along with the other prisoners, overcame the guards to take over the ship and land in safe harbor. During this revolt, Humbart was killed trying to protect Jak.
  
  With Humbart's body, Jak travelled to seek voodoo, witchcraft, and necromancy -eventually finding a demon in his wake. The demon promised that if Jak could survive Hell for 6 earth days, he could have Humbart's soul and bring him back to life. If Jak could not, he was sentenced to a life-time of servitude. Jak agreed, and with him took blessing and holy items to guide him and allow him to survive hell, eventually finding Humbart's soul and cheating the demon out of the deal. He brought Humbart back to life but unfortunately their destinies met a crossroads. Humbart, at mid-age, wanted to live a peaceful life while Jak wanted to find a true home. The two departed but their fates met again at La Citta.
