• Description

  Djoss Fahn has been forced into a life of combat. As such, she is built very differently from most other Halflings; while her race is normally known to be somewhat pudgy or skinny, Djoss is one hundred and nine pounds of pure muscle. She is strong enough to to lift objects several times her weight, and skilled enough to use her size and weight as a counterbalance to lift things even heavier still. Djoss would have thicker muscles, but her racial genetics impedes her physical progress. Much to her own dismay, she is beginning to realize that she may never get stronger than she currently is. Because of this, her muscles have stopped growing, and started becoming harder and more defined. As such, in terms of physical appearance, Djoss is at the peak of Halfling physical aesthetics.
  
  Much to her chagrin and annoyance, Djoss was not born a warrior. Instead, her mother was heralded as the most beautiful priestess of Yondalla, and Djoss had already been born before her mother was to be remarried. As such, Djoss does her best to hide her shapely and lascivious female form. Like many of her people, Djoss' assets are endowed enough to woo even males of other races, but she considers this more of an obstacle than anything else. She wants people to remember how strong she is, not her hips.
  
  In an act of blatantly hypocrisy, however, Djoss is completely in love with her hair. She will never forgive anyone who sullies it in any way. Her hair is long and curly, reaching all the way down to Djoss' waist. Djoss straightens her hair with a flame-heated rock and fish oil once a week, and when she does so her hair is longer than she is. Her locks, once originally a deep crimson, have been bleached by the sun over the decades. They are now a bright blond, with no signs of red whatsoever.
  
  Djoss originally had pale skin with freckles splattered over almost her entire frame; however, much like her hair, time under the sun has washed out her sweet white skin and replaced it with a tan that has been bronzed over the years. There are, however, still freckles on her cheeks, which have managed to change to a very feint pale color rather than their natural red. They are hardly noticeable unless one pays close attention. Djoss seems to take pride in the fact that she has such an illustrious tan. She also takes pride in the fact that her skin is flawed with countless battle scars. Ranging from small piercings to large gashes of scar tissue, her more recent scars are more pale in color while her older scars are more tanned.
  
  Djoss' eyes are green, and that has not changed since she was taken by her tribes. However, her own anger and fervor in combat causes the blood in her body to rush to her head, like many barbarians when they become enraged. Somewhere down the line, it would appear that she may have popped a blood vessel in her eyes, because there are tiny blotches of red all over her iris that look like red streaks. When she gets really mad, they become even more pronounced; however, when Djoss becomes enraged, her pupils white out and you are able to see the veins in her eyes growing and pulsing.

• Biography

  Djoss' history is not as complicated as her personality is. She was born to a priestess of Yondalla, but her father died of heart problems right after her conception. While still a toddler, a Dwarven noble came to their temple and was struck by her mother's beauty. He promptly asked for her hand in marriage, and made the arrangements to have the both of them brought to his mountainhome.
  
  While en route, however, Orc barbarian enemies of the Dwarves caught wind of the caravan and decided to act. They slaughtered the guards, the women, and most of the children, killing Djoss' mother in the process, but kept the Dwarven lord alive to run home as a message. The nobleman had the option of taking one person with him on this journey, and that person would be sparred; he chose his horse, so that he may get home faster, much to the amusement of the Orcs.
  
  Noticing Djoss among the survivors, the Orcs first thought she was a Dwarven child, so they took her back to their camp as a prisoner. While preparing to execute her, one of them realized that she was a Halfling, and not a Dwarf. Generally not caring and wanting to see some blood anyway, they decided to torment the Halfling before killing her, and put her in a box. The Orcs then closed the box, placed a heavy two-handed greatsword on the box, and told the girl that if she could open the box they'd let her free.
  
  Instead, two days later, another barbarian tribe attacked and found Djoss inside o the box. This tribe, filled with many races, took Djoss back with them as part of the spoils, thinking she was some kind of entertainment for her previous captors. They fed her, clothed her, and kept asking if she knew any tricks. They were consistently disappointed.
  
  The tribe eventually adopted Djoss as one of their own, since she didn't know where she had come from or how to get back there, as she was only two years old at the time. They trained her as one of their own, and she took to their lifestyle with ease. By the time she was thirteen and ready to take her trials, Djoss was as fit as any of the other children. She passed her trials, returning to the tribe with eight wolf heads instead of the required four. With such a bounty, she was sent to study under some of the tribe's warriors.
  
  At this point, it becomes fairly obvious where Djoss garnered her current disposition and penchant for violence and rage. Her tribe's warriors would constantly mock the tiny Halfling at any opportunity, and Djoss quickly learned that the only way to shut up an idiot was to knock his jaw off. She trained every day, doing everything in her power to make the other warriors ignore her size and gender and focus on the fact that she was at perfect height to strike their unmentionables.
  
  It was exceptionally hard for her, but after a decade of training and constant fighting, Djoss was proven to be one of the tribe. A Survivor of dozens of battles, Djoss was recently chosen for an important quest to undertake. Her tribe, though strong and diverse, has been living in a country that has recently declared that all barbarian tribes are to fall in line or leave the country. Djoss must find a new home for her people by showing her prowess to another nation, and then report back to her tribe.
