  • Personality: Sort of a depressed kuudere, a bit mopey and doesn’t always get along very well with other people. Also a bit of a tsunshun. Gets touchy about the scar on her face. Doesn’t like to use her powers, and reaches for sword before magic.

• Description

  Appearance: Hazel eyes, short dark red-brown hair parted to the left. Scar on left cheek, on side of eye, starting below her eyebrow and coming down to level of between lip and nose. Ahoge at the part in her hair, two, looks like an “M” that is longer on the left.
  
  Clothing: Grey or tan pants, long. Black belts, crossed over hips, one of which holds black scabbard to her black katana. Dark blue or green shirt, longsleeve, longer on right side than on left. Also wears a white or cream colored cloak pinned with a diamond shaped firestone, to indicate that she is a Fire Elementalist. Wears black fighting (combat) boots.
  
  Personality: Sort of a depressed kuudere, a bit mopey and doesn't always get along very well with other people. Also a bit of a tsunshun. Gets touchy about the scar on her face. Doesn't like to use her powers, and reaches for sword before magic.
  
  Abilities: Fire Elementalist, but very rarely uses her abilities, and they tend to have more control and finesse than they do raw power. She is able to create a small flame on the tip of her finger equivalent to that of a lit match, and she can set off small explosions, like fireworks, but prefers not to. She hasn't let anyone see much more than that, and nobody know why she doesn't like to use her powers.
  Is very skilled in the art of the sword, can use all types of swords, but ultimately prefers katana. Sword prodigy.
  Has the ability to See, and is able to see magic itself. Her natural powers were of the Light Element, but she doesn't know. The extent of her abilities with Light is being able to see magic glow at night, and if she focuses, during the day, though it might leave her with a headache. Of course, she doesn't know this, and therefore doesn't do it, though she never uses her powers, anyways.
  
  Occupation: Trains people at dojo in the art of the sword. Sometimes receives training contract from high-up hobnobs who want to be elite. Also gets contracts from Professional Explorers.. Secretly loves her job, but never says she does.
  
  Weapon: Black katana, the mark of the elite.
  
  Backstory: Teika never got along well with people, and since nobody would spend time with her of their own free will, she spent four months living alone in a cave in the forest (charted area, or it is as far as she let on when she returned). When she was ten, she discovered her dominion over Fire, and returned to live in the town (she left town when she was nine and eight months). Her parents refused to take her back in, but the Dojo Master took her in, and instructed her in the art of hand to hand combat, however, after two years of such training, the Dojo master had nothing else to teach her but the art of the sword.
  When Teika first picked up a sword, she was able to tell that it’s balance was off. The Dojo Master was impressed, and he soon realized that her ability with the sword rivaled that of the finest knights around, one of whom lost to Teika in a fencing match when she was thirteen. The Dojo Master passed away a year after Teika's parents, when she was fifteen. Teika has been running the Dojo ever since, but has never claimed the title of Dojo Master. She prefers to be called “Tagami-Sensei” or “Sensei” when people address her, unless she knows them well. Then she lets them just call her “Tagami”. Gets annoyed when people call her “Teika”.
  
  Other:
  -Habitually carries a small whetstone in her pocket.
  -Refuses to eat any type of cheese.
  -Will never admit it, but she hates boiled eggs.
  -Doesn't like to eat in front of people.
  -Prefers to carry her own gear, rather than pool her assets with those of the group.

  -Is looking for an apprentice to bring up to proficiency in the various combat arts so she can leave Dojo more often.
  -Is secretly not as lonely as she appears to be.
  -Tagami is the last name of the Dojo Master, who adopted her. Her original last name was Kawasaki.
  -Her scar wasn't on her face when she left to live in the forest, but it was there when she returned.
  -After she met Rolond Maclour, she fireproofed the Dojo and installed enchanted locks.
