• Description

  Not your typical zombie.
  
  At first glance, he could certainly almost pass for human, but those eyes stood out. Yellowed sclera and clouded gray irises were strange enough, but the shining blue glow that emitted from his pupils was truly unnerving, a glimpse into the eldritch magics that offered the corpse what he referred to as his "second life". His flesh showed little sign of outward rot-- stitches here and there cinched together spots where his blue-tinted skin had become dessicated and torn. It would be accurate to call him long and spindly-- he was unhealthily thin by all accounts, with long, narrow limbs, and the effect was only heightened by his collection of tailored pinstripe suits. He had a stink about him-- sickly-sweet, like rotting oranges. Too much perfume, to cover the mild scent of rot that hung about him despite all efforts to nullify it. Perhaps the strangest thing about him was the friendly smile he so often wore, whether greeting a new patient, serenely offering advice, or enjoying a goat cheese, mushroom, and pepper pizza on a cauliflower crust at the local nocturnal cafe.

• Biography

  Dr. Empty is quite private about his "first life", as he calls it. He has changed his name since then, and invested quite a lot of money into separating himself from it to avoid involving the people he knew in his first life in the paranormal underworld that encompasses his second life. What is known is that he was a respected psychologist who died in an accident some thirty years ago. He has revealed that while he does not know who raised him or why, if anyone did so with any particular reason in mind, he recalls going into work six days after his funeral, and that he had to be convinced that he was dead.
  
  After that incident was taken care of with the assistance of a mage and a few well-placed memory rewrites, he took the name Castille Empty and purchased office space across the city, settling in and setting up shop as a mental health care provider for non-humans and humans immersed in the world of paranormal activity.
