• Description

  A hunter from a far off village, Russell wanted to become a scholar, but an event in his past forced him into becoming a hunter, an old foe whom he hopes to meet again one day is his target, and he won't rest until he finds it

• Biography

  Born in a village he never bothered to learn the name of, Russell was pretty well off: two loving parents, nice house, anything he could of wanted really. He was an extremely smart kid, ending up in high school at the young age of 10, sadly he was picked on constantly for his size and for his intellect, He graduated age 13 and just when he thought everything would be going good, "It" happened. He and his parents were going on a picnic in the snowy mountains, they went to the peak and began to eat, when suddenly a roar was heard, it was Tigrex migration season and Russell and his folks were next on the menu. Russell's mother who was in complete shock at the beast was frozen still about to be bit by the monster, a young courageous Russell dove in just time to save her, however his torso got cut by one of the teeth, leaving a nasty scar from his chest to his belly button. Russell's dad was an experienced hunter, but he knew he was no match for such a monster, he told Russell to run with his mother as fast as he could off the mountain. Russell being the stubborn boy he was elected to stay, his father charged the Tigrex great-sword in hand, he was able to get off a swing severely damaging one of the Tigrex's arms. The Tigrex, completely enraged at Russell's father, did not take very kindly to this and proceeded to attack Russell's father, completely destroying the left half of his body. A horrified Russell ran to his dad and his father's last words to him were "I love you Russ, take care of your mother for me OK?" and with those words he passed away. Russell had forgotten about his mother who was standing in complete horror, the Tigrex had targeted her, and it was charging right for her. Russell tried to stop it, but to no avail, it had headbutted his poor mother right off the mountain, Russell had failed his late father, and let his mother die right in front of him. after this Russell blacked out, the last thing he remembers is seeing a hunter run up the path, a friend of his father. He woke up in his village and they explained everything, while Russell thought he was blacked out, he had picked up his father's and charged the monster head on, no armor, no anything. he swung with inhuman strength and speed and completely destroyed the Tigrex's right eye, his father's friend was able to pull him away while the Tigrex was stunned and they made it back to the village. Seeing Russell's potential, his late father's friend enrolled him into hunting school and Russell completely abandoned his dreams of becoming a scholar, he only wanted one thing: That Tigrex dead. He was in the hunter's academy for 3 years and learned everything there was to know about great-swords, including the fabled level 4 charge, however due to his size and strength, he swung much slower then the average hunter, albeit with the same amount of strength. This made his final tests difficult to pass but no one could deny it, he was a master with a great-sword, just a bit underdeveloped. His late father's friend wondered constantly where all the strength and speed he had seen that day went, then he realized it: it was the anger of seeing his parents killed that gave him such abilities, so he proposed a test. One day he went up to Russell during his practice session and said one thing: "Tigrex". Russell lost it, he pulled out his sword and started swinging wildly with the same inhuman speed and strength he had that day, he destroyed one of the student quarters with one swing, there was something different about the swing that destroyed the house however, it seemed like it surpassed the strength of even a level 3 charge, it confused his father's friend immensely. Russell is now 16, he is a full fledged hunter working for his village, however he is rarely sent on hunting missions so life as a hunter for him is pretty boring, he's been sent on his 7th gathering mission this week, but he's heard rumors about a large monster in the mountains, "finally some action!" he thinks as he walks away from his village, little does he know, his whole life his about to change.
