• The Turn

  The Manipulator is an enigmatic figure with a flair for the dramatic. He appears, always, garbed in black, with a flesh mask giving him the appearance of facelessness. He favors a long black trench coat, with an incredible number of pockets both internal and external, and dark cargo pants for the same, apparent reason. Black combat boots and a tight black shirt complete the ensemble; while at first glance, it appears to favor function over form, a cursory understanding of manipulation and puppetry reminds that entirely black clothing is perfectly in keeping with a puppeteer. He carries his weapons on his belt, but rarely draws them except to make a statement.

• The Prestige

  Felix Culpa is the young new professor of entomology at New Versailles University, often seen in a survival vest, polo tee, and cargo shorts as he leads his classes on field trips into the bayou, with its fascinating and diverse assortment of insect and arachnid life. He's often regarded as a passionate, if studious man, enthusiastic about his subject in a way that other professors occasionally find irritating. A fairly recent graduate from the doctoral program, teaching as a graduate student has failed to curb his enthusiasm for the collegiate environment, and he lectures with an almost annoying gusto, were it not for the fact that his classes tend to be, due to his enthusiasm, considerably more fun than your typical boring lecture and standard lab. That said, his circle of friends is rather small-- he'd even hazard to say he has almost no friends in New Versailles, since he's the only graduate from his program to stay in the city and he knew very few people outside of it.
