• Biography

  Born fifty years before the beginning of the Seventh Umbral Era, Lockheed, orignally named Challoux Falzaur to a Duskwight father and a Wildwood mother, was destined to suffer through much hardship doubly for his mixed heritage and the harsh inflation of Eorzea's economy. After waiting for him to turn spry age of ten, both parents deciding to abandon him to his fate in the Sagolii desert where he'd be found by a family of SunSeeker Miqo'te. Though not fully accepted in due to his obvious outsider appearance, he did what he could, studying the Miq'ote ways, finding himself most entranced by their interpretation of the Puglist (fist fighter/knuckle) arts.
  
  Once he'd grown old enough, he'd make his way to the City of Uldah to seek his destiny as an adventurer, enrolling himself in the Puglist guild under the tutelage of a former master of the art. Showing natural ability, agility, dexterity and a sharp, tactical mind, he quickly progressed into becoming a fine Knuckle Fighter but then began to grow interest in another guild during a trip to Gridania. There he'd find the Wood Wailers, a guild of Lancers made nearly exclusively up of Wildwood Elezen who luckily didn't hold any ill will against him for being half Duskwight. There he used all that he learned as a Puglist and applied it to his wielding of a Lance finding himself to be quite the natural. It was then that he'd decide to dedicate himself more to his love of the Lance but not forget to keep honing the form of his Knuckle arts. Such doubled dedication would turn him into a formidable Lancer able to hold his own against hordes of monsters.
  
  He'd rise quickly as a Lancer, fulfilling requests of the local populace, be it gathering materials from monster hordes or clearing out monster mob infestations, or even taking care of bandits and pirate raiders. His deeds would earn him some amount of fame and respect, and the leader of Wood Wailers would call for him, saying that there was nothing left that could be passed down or taught to him which was why he had sent notice to an old friend in Ishgard about him. Upon arriving at a town so far north of Gridania in a land where snowfall was constant and dragons were the prime antagonists to the Holy Order, he'd quickly find himself defending the town from a roving mob of wyverns double the height of the typical Midlander Hyur (human) and twice his own size around.
  
  Fending them off with the man who would decided to pass on the teachings and ways of the Dragoon to him, he'd learn of the existence of another Dragoon that fell prey to the seductions of greater power enslaved to the will of a great Wyrm. Through his interactions with both the Dragoon and his new mentor who had taught the Dragoon as well, he learned of the lore of Dragoons, the history of their creation. He found himself fascinated more though with learning that upon bonding with the Azure Dragoon's Soul, he began to hear the voices of the Dragons he fought against. While some were truly malevolent others showed sadness and regret for the rift between people and Dragons, and he sympathized their plight wondering when the warring between the two would end.
  
  As the newly appointed and annointed Azure Dragoon, Lockheed as he decided to change his name from traditional Elezen to something more simple and practical, and he honed his skill with lance and spear to fight off the dragons that consciously attacked living settlements without just cause. Likewise he tried his hardest to mend the rift between the Ishgardians and the Dragons they so hated and begrudged reminding him of the scorn the Duskwights felt towards him and his Wildwood traitor blood.
  
  Now ten years into the seventh Umbral Era, he has been working alongside the Scions to defend Eorzea from evil machinations greater than the beastkin and the primals they serve. No, he did not just stand up for Eorzea but for all of Hydaelyn and the mother crystal bearing the same name as the planet, that is until he stumbled upon ruins generating unstable, raw Aetheryte readings. Upon request of the Scions, he investigated only to find himself caught in a blast and explosion of Aether transporting him from the ruins to an open field. At first he thought he had been warped outside of the ruins by some mechanism, an emergency escape naively enough, but that definitely wasn't the case finding himself face to face with something that looked like a dragon but was dressed up and able to converse with him once the Elezen was able to get over his shock.
  
  Not knowing where or when he is now, he travels about in his Azure armor with lance in hand or strapped across his back.
